This is that a terrific story, knew as a sort of collage narrative, weaving podcast into the story. I am a grandmother, at the same time past center school teacher, at the same time I enjoyed it a lot, although the motivated audience is that grades 6-10. It produced me think about interactions I had when I was a teacher, discussing with women about their clothing. Firestone has created exciting manners at the same time a very relatable plot while addressing no one of the problems young people face present. Not just dress codes, but also vaping, teasing, fellowship issues, inclusion issues, at the same time generic irony. At no time does this book preach — but I reckon it will reach!

A comrade advised this book, at the same time my daughter read it (320 pages) in much less than 24 hours. We’ve had so many amazing discussions about the stories she read about, from the bashful situations that appear with maturity to the unfair dress codes that are only enforced for women, to the merk lady who got in problem for her natural hairstyle. We’ve talked about ”quality trouble”, speaking up without being disrespectful, at the same time listening to our gut instincts about important issues. This was a flawless fit right behind a male teacher voiced to the class that women weren’t permitted to wear tank tops or shorts because it’s ”disgusting”. The book helped her come to her possess conclusions about what’s really disgusting. I’ve read parts of the book at the same time plan to final it myself. I highly advise it for no matter what other center school lady moms out that.

Audiobook Dress Coded by Carrie Firestone
A amazing reminder for women At the same time men that everyone has challenges at the same time insecurities, even if you can’t look them or don’t know about them. An opportunity for ancestors to have an open dialogue about reverence, kindness, at the same time standing why one believes in.

I enjoyed this book. But, the story was somewhat all over the dispose. I particularly enjoyed the storyline regarding Danny. The dress-code storyline fell just a little even. I did not enjoy the podcast episode chapters but aside from those chapters, I enjoyed the book.
