This was a higher action tale with practically no pauses in the action from the 1st moment when Caleb is that mysteriously grabbed through a mirror to the finish when that is that a desperate wage war to detain the gate while Caleb at the same time his comrades escape from the mysterious Fae at the same time their “Underhill” lands.
But that was the problem. Disposition took a backseat to the frenetic nature of the unchanging action. We get to meet abundance manners by name, but their personalities never received a chance to come through. Instead we had to deal with an eternal description of skirmishes then and frenetic action to recover from skirmishes, run away from skirmishes, plan for future skirmishes, etc.
Skirmishes are exciting, but they can’t be the only part of the tale at the same time in this story that’s than anyway it seemed the story became. That barely wasn’t much disposition in this despite the gigantic cast.
Its not otherwise bad, but it had soo much possible at the same time that possible felt wasted by the overly simplistic plot that had nothing but action at the same time little time to reflect on building up others of why everything was happening.
Funny, but I have bestow this barely 3 hit. It should have at the same time managed have been a lot more successful with more interludes to organize manners.

Wow, Caleb our head protagonist is that kidnapped at the same time dragged to Underhill where he finds himself hurt, trapped at the same time enslaved in an old-school like D&D game… where the only convinced gizmo, is that doom!
It’s a wage war or “perma-die” situation, at the same time the action is that turned all the method right up to 11, wholesome with brain matter spewing out the back of an unfortunate fork or two!!! Caleb, has barely one gizmo on his brain: to change the odds, at the same time turn the tables on the Fae at the same time escape! Anything he can’t do without the promote of his flock mates!
At the same time, yes! I adored it! I guess I beheld to abundance Samurai movies in my formative years! Lovers
The narrator Angelo De Loreto did his job admirably, at the same time I was so wrapped up in the story I got lost trace of him as “the narrator”. Ya gotta be doing true quality to accomplish that!
If I had no matter what complaint, it could be about the abrupt ending (Not that it wasn’t quality, brain for you)… I guess I’m barely the type of reader that perfers the book to lock up with more of a denouement!

I barely couldn’t get into it. I read to about 30% at the same time had no desire to last. That misspoke, it seemed to be significantly but written, but not to my taste. Tom out

I’m really looking forward to the 2nd one. I believed I might be a little got lost with only a passing knowledge of Dnd at the same time rpg games but even without understanding the stats portion, I confused in the amazing global building. It was like the the underhill was its possess disposition at the same time dragged me into the story.
I really enjoyed the descriptions at the same time I reckon my winner was when Caleb was data his MRE with the dessert pulled out…that’s a special sort of torture borders itself.
