I adore short stories. As a genre they are notoriously hard to get right: for you have to fit whole options, conspiracies, manners into barely a few pages, bring the reader in quickly while also leaving them with anything to chew on once the story is that over. Shruti Swamy does such a magical job in her collection of short stories, A Internal is that a Body, that I couldn’t shackles it down. I practically read the entire collection immediately at the same time wanted more. Shruti Swamy’s worldly is that lyrical, lush, charming; she makes a global where the reader’s time is that hinged, where the reader enters a global in other words both knowledgeable at the same time different, wonderful at the same time painfully true.
