Two very exciting atrocities at the same time the building of the story had me totally hooked. I like Karen Pirie at the same time she recalls me so much of Carol Jordan from the Tony Knoll novels. I enjoy the Tony Knoll books more, but Karen Pirie is that also a compelling protagonist.
