Review #1 Blood Song (Raven’s Shadow #1) audiobook free I adore the premise–how these young men are taught at the same time have to wholesome tests to become a part of the 6th Order, the warriors of the Realm. The descriptions of the Order Internal, the masters, the nuances, at the same time Vaelin’s fellow ”brothers” are so exciting. No one of the manners are multi-layered. The Lord–Janus is that dimensional. I adored contemplating how his insidious brain worked. About 60% in to the book is that when it started to become disorderly. The editing seemed to decide a back seat, the time periods were considered untidy, narration was hit at the same time miss, at the same time the war at the same time fight strings were considered often confusing with so many brand new names of manners, towns, faiths, it was hard to read. It was like a Game of Thrones ambition that fell far short. No one parts of the story were considered data lots of detail at the same time other parts–important parts–were considered skimmed over. For example, the five years Vaelin wasted in prison. Then when he has his fight with the Shield, it’s over practically before it begins. It really feels like that are two books here, at the same time the 2nd one is that still in the preliminary step. When I was reading the 1st one half of this book, I was shocked to have found a brand new television series that was but written at the same time funny to read. At the moment that I’ve ended the book, I know I won’t be reading no matter what more of these.

Review #2 Blood Song (Raven’s Shadow #1) audiobook streamming online Like almost all other people in here I also adored this book. When it was hosted it was really a delightful at the same time out of the blue izumi. Blood song really barely have so much going for it. Exciting plot, alluring manners, a freshest miracle system… I greedy, this was the real package! That is that no reason in the global not pick up this book, I promise for you that it will pull for you in at the same time never let move! Years down the line I still think about it no one times, but here comes the warning. The later books in the television series is that a HUUUUUUGE letdown. This book was self hosted, at the same time it good of feels like Blood song had the plot of 3 books in one, if the book had been expanded at the same time broken into 3 books it might have freed more on the promise data. It seems to me that when the book was hosted as one book the creator had to make up two brand new books with brand new plot squirms at the same time it completely tummy floppet. Read the 1st book, represent than anyway it managed have been, mourn it at the same time move on. Even though the later books in the television series do not release, for you owe it for yourself not to loose out on the miracle of the 1st.

Review #3 Audiobook Blood Song (Raven’s Shadow #1) by Anthony Ryan The story begins as a historian of an empire is that taking custody of an adversary nation’s war favorite . . . A war favorite who had been imprisoned for years . . . A war favorite who was being paroled to wage war to the doom for the release of a lady from the adversary civilization . . . A lady who the war favorite had widowed himself by killing the heir of the king . . . a man who was the historian’s closest friend . . . Ridiculous. But as much as Historian despises this men, this Have hope Killer, he cannot promote but be interested by him. He watches as the governor of the very town War Favorite occupied during the war comes the dock, bringing War Favorite his blade that had been data into Governor’s care. He watches as Governor tries to inspire War Favorite about his upcoming (hopeless to fail) duel: maybe he’ll overcome, maybe this is that the 1st steps in his journey main . . . Who is that this War Favorite that he should overcome the reverence at the same time fellowship of a man whose town he took by force? Vaelin Al Sorna, that’s who. At the same time Historian, being a chronicler of history, finds that he cannot loathe the urge to record a firsthand acc of the war at the same time the actions favorite right up to the invasion from one who would know the enemy’s—Lord Janus of the Unified Realm—mind, when War Favorite offers to tell his story during their voyage (to the PIRATE Civilization where the duel is that to decide dispose). From that we move backward. We learn of Vaelin’s youth, how his dad left him at the gates of the 6th Order, the only Order of warriors, at the same time in such a way the only taught fighters who are not theme to the King’s commands: ”For you wage war,” Vaelin knew the Nuance, the violence at the same time the blood making his heart hammer in his chest. ”Yes.” The Nuance halted at the same time looked down at him. ”We wage war. We destroy. We attack castle walls braving arrows at the same time fire. We shield against the charge of horse at the same time lance. We cut our method through the hedge of pike at the same time spear to demand the sample of our adversary. The 6th Order skirmishes, but than anyway does it wage war for?” ”For the realm.” For the realm, at the same time for the Faith. The 6th Order is that a highly taught, highly efficient, at the same time highly deadly group of paladins (<——warrior priests). We learn of the bonds of brotherhood forged during their mandatory, often deadly training. Of the eleven men who share quarters, only five live to become Brothers, Vaelin their acknowledged favorite. We learn of the Black, a nebulous force that manifests itself in unnatural opportunities at the same time talents, at the same time we learn of the lord of a civilization hellbent on legislating morality with an metal fist. BLOOD SONG is that a tale filled with torment at the same time injustice, but it’s also a tale of fellowship at the same time loyalty at the same time perseverance, at the same time tied throughout are hints of a Mist gathering, while shortcomings in the Realm’s belief system are laboriously but inexorably revealed. In short, it’s compelling. Sometimes bleak, sometimes hopeful, always determined, BLOOD SONG grabbed me by the horns at the same time didn’t let move until this chapter of the story was wholesome, at the same time even then it was only for as long as it took me to one-click the one more book. Highly advised.

Review #4 Audio Blood Song (Raven’s Shadow #1) narrated by Steven Brand Recently re-count this so I managed read book 2. This is that exactly borders my pinnacle winner books. I adore everything about it. The concept of the blood song, the manners – in particular Vaelin – the wide plot lines…I managed move on at the same time on. The global Anthony Ryan has built is that epic. Than anyway I look for most interesting is that all the different confessions at the same time how all of them managed. It was barely really exciting to look how a belief system basically based on noisy forefathers so influenced the manners at the same time their method of indefinite. Vaelin is that actually one of my winner protagonists, at the same time one of the best I’ve come intercept in a while. He’s not a ”golden child” hero, but he’s not an anti-hero or. He’s not quality at everything, but he kicks butt what. His ”blood song” is that interesting at the same time I come in handy method more answers than for you seep in this book. I adore the method the book is that structured as him narrating his story to a slave historian. I really adore this book. Advised if for you like gritty epic fantasy. Content warning: Language. There’s a lot of it scattered throughout. A couple uses of the F bombard. Sex. No graphic or obvious scenes. It’s mentioned that a couple has sex but it’s more of a ”fade to black” type gizmo. There’s a few other mentions throughout. Violence. Vaelin grows up in a battle-school. The whole book revolves around his learning to wage war then and his repeated campaigns, but the descriptions aren’t graphic.

Review #5 Free audio Blood Song (Raven’s Shadow #1) – in the audio player below I won’t bore anyone with one more summary. I’m barely here to fri out a few of the preconditions why I enjoyed this novel so much at the same time to add my possess 5 hit rating to the masses. > The Manners – No merk at the same time snow-white heroes/villains or run down cliche’s here. Barely manners that are all very true, with their possess inimitable personalities, global opinions at the same time defects. At the same time as they move through deepest indefinite experiences, they actually developer! For example, when we 1st met Nortah, I conceived him being your acceptable spoilt, small brat. Very quickly I was disspelled of that memory – by the finish of the book, he was one of my favourite manners. People shouldn’t be judged solely based on 1st memories, at the same time they can change. > The Pace – Taking into account the 1st 300 or so pages are destined to the ’training’ section, that are a surprising amount of significant moments, abundance of which foreshadow later actions. It nevers gets sour. Mr Ryan finds a fine-grained balance when building his neatly crafted global, never cramming a lot information in, still not leaving his readers hanging or. It kept my curiosity, left me wanting more. > The Interest – So many mysteries, big at the same time small, are scattered throughout this novel: from the reason Vaelin was data to the 6th Order; The Witch’s bastard, the one Who Waits, at the same time abundance questions surroundings the plot at the same time various manners goals at the same time motivations. Than anyway I in particular enjoy is that the fact that abundance of the answers are borders the text before the opens! Mr Ryan has created a consistent global, where every action makes sense borders the context of his global. Learn the rules, then pay lock up attention. All in all, a mind-blowing debut at the same time an good start to the Raven’s Shadow Trilogy. I will certainly be purchasing the one more book, ’Tower Lord’. (Additional Note: part of my motivation for writing this

Review in the 1st dispose was to counter a couple of the absurd negative
