Review #1 Doppelgangster (Esther Diamond #2) audiobook free *a little spoilery* It’s a funny impetuous read, but I received So Unwell of the manners expression, “Doppleganster”. That are a dozen synonyms, implementation no one. The head disposition is that hard to compare to in this book. Esther has been a quirky, flighty lady in past books but in this one she is that in one moment a hysterical, irrational stereotype. She hits a cop, she’s knew not to do that by a 2nd cop, brushes off the warning at the same time hits her ex again. Again she’s warned about hitting a cop. Again she brushes off the warning in an irrational ‘that are no consequences for MY deeds’ manner at the same time hits him a third part time. This is that in the middle of a militia raid, all the while she’s yelling like a fish wife about her hurt emotions. Even Esther Diamond would recognize that this is that a serious situation at the same time that she can’t get away with smacking her ex-bf cop in the middle of a militia raid. But the creator wants Esther in prison, so in one moment the head disposition is that bat-sh*t crazy with no concept of individual responsibility. Throughout this book, it’s barely more of similar. Esther yelling, stomping her feet at the same time acting irrationally at the same time her sort of Ex grovels at the same time imposes. This abracadabram ruined the story for me.

Review #2 Doppelgangster (Esther Diamond #2) audiobook streamming online I had higher hopes for this book right behind reading the 1st Esther Diamond novel. It certainly freed in definitions of a enticing mystery at the same time suspenseful climax, but the richness of the supporting cast, at the same time the smart sense of humor form the 1st book aren’t quite that in this one. It’s worth reading, in particular for anyone who wants to read the whole television series, but I’d advise looking for it in a local library over buying it.

Review #3 Audiobook Doppelgangster (Esther Diamond #2) by Laura Resnick All Esther Diamond wants is that a respectable acting role that she can be proud of (at the same time her typically Jewish mother can be proud of as but!) she’ll do anything to get her to finish nagging. Plus, it would be nice to get a ordinary paycheck. At the same time completely move on a burning sexy date with her militia detective lover. But it types like that’s not in the cards for Esther. At lesser not while Mercury is that in retrograde at the same time her proverbial job as a vocal waitress at Bella Stella’s (the mob version of Casablanca) is that soon to hit the skids. When Esther’s winner wiseguy customer Chubby Charlie Chiccante is that gunned down in front of her right behind contemplating his magical doppelganger, she’s drawn deeply into a network of wonderful interest at the same time the mobster underworld. Who is that creating the wonderful doppelganger assassins that threaten to start an all out mob war between Brand new York’s well-known criminal liability families? At the same time can she finish it before she ends up dozing with the fishes very? Doppelgangster is that an energetic swindler tale with parts of the paranormal in other words both smart at the same time hilarious. At first, I didn’t know than anyway to wait when starting it. Was it a paranormal? Was it a mystery? Was it a thriller? Was it a romance? I was so pleasantly startled to look for that it was all of these things at the same time more. Diving into Doppelgangster was like getting the best piece of the pie at the same time laboriously savoring any eat. Resnick is that in her element with Doppelgangster’s dialogue. She’s a powerhouse with it. The funny at the same time engaging mobsterisms are rampant, literate, at the same time her disposition interactions are simply gut busting. In truth the two important nuances of Resnick’s tale are the originality of her plan at the same time the excellent disposition interactions. Esther, paired with Successful, Max, at the same time Nelli at the behest of the Gambello’s cowardly don makes this one of the funniest books I’ve read this year. I giggled non-stop throughout this book. That is that a small threads of romance between Esther at the same time her slurpalicious detective Lopez. But this time, the mobster shenanigans ensuing have securely disposed the lol on back camps: Lopez on the side of the law at the same time Esther helping the “generic”. While this tenuous threads between the two of them was smoking burning, I suspect that we’ll be contemplating more of sexy Detective Lopez in Resnick’s one more novel. In particular the barest hint that he might not be than anyway he seems, at the same time would be mentally gifted. If you want to truly be amused, (at the same time ridicule out sonorous frequently) at the same time enjoy storytelling at its best, assign Doppelgangster a whirl! A Fiendishly Bookish

Review

Review #4 Audio Doppelgangster (Esther Diamond #2) narrated by Audrey Bertaux Bob Payne Chris Genebach Christopher Scheeren Christopher Walker Colleen Delany Danny Gavigan real cast Misha Glenn Thomas Keegan Tim Carlin Todd Scofield Sounds like the start of a bad funny story, but in this case it is that the culmination of a television series of unusual occurances that seems to be the topic of Esther’s criminal liability solving indefinite. While she is that a attractive grounded personality with a lot of sense (for an actress), the much less than ubiquitous occurrences in her indefinite, quit her scrambling to solve a television series of unusual murders in this new book in this television series. In Doppelgangster, Esther is that drawn in with the mob at the same time a semi-retired cuddly wise-guy dignified Successful, as but as her mentor, Max, in all things strange (since supernatural is that really a misnomer according to him) at the same time obviously her practically lover, Conner Lopez, the straight-man or cop, of this comedic romp. The story is that impetuous pace, Laura Resnick does a amazing job of creating out of habit manners that are believable at the same time placing Esther is that situations that quit for you chuckling, even as for you try to guess how she will solve the inimitable situation she is that drawn in in. She leaves the reader wanting more, at the same time really wanting to look Esther’s “practically” lover become anything more. Exactly worth the read!

Review #5 Free audio Doppelgangster (Esther Diamond #2) – in the audio player below I was delighted to look Laura Resnick seems to have caught her footing writing this totally different genre of urbanized fantasy she has taken on. Doppelganger starts with a bang at the same time keeps rolling along. With crooks getting whacked at the same time their multiplies freaking everybody out, in particular when one of Esther is that spotted, the story keeps the reader interested at the same time drawn in enough to wish to find out who dunnit even though impoverished Esther’s fledgling romance with Lopez takes a hit. Oh, at the same time Max completely solves his feather problem. All in all, it was one more funny romp around Brand new York. Resnick has a deft palm at keeping things moving along at the same time I look forward to the one more installment in this television series.
