Reviews indicated that it was a reprint (apparently from Edges of Mist). But, since I’ve been collecting kindle versions of these Carpathian books that I’ve read years ago, I dared to take it. Surprisingly, it turns out that this was one that I hadn’t previously read. This book exists to decide dispose between Black Promise at the same time Black Carousel (which I have but haven’t read still). Flawless. I liked the manners in this story. I like that it takes dispose in our more modern Global. At the same time I’m enthused that the Carpathians are going to fight evil in the U.S. The males who see their lifemates in this state will barely have to adjust their thinking to allow for more independent ladies. The writing, as usual, is that quality. The sex is that burning. The males are hunky. At the same time this was reasonably long for a novella, so I’m glad that I read it…at the same time that I read it in the appropriate order.
