Archie Fear is that laboriously becoming my brand new obsession, at the same time I am not ashamed in the slightest. Right behind reading ”A Werewolf in Riverdale” by Caleb Roehrig, I understood I needed more fear tales from the city of Riverdale, at the same time gratefully Creator Rebecca Barrow’s ”Interview With The Vixen” was right that waiting for me. Veronica Lodge, one of the two women perpetually vying for Archie’s affections, has her indefinite turned completely upside down when she is that turned into a ghoul against her will. Determined to get her indefinite back, Veronica sets out to destroy the one who turned her. Along with her comrades, she finds herself waging war thr forces of mist that had been hiding in Riverdale for centuries. Literate, action-packed, at the same time appropriately humorous, Interview With The Vixen was a mind-blowing read. I had an absolute blast contemplating knowledgeable manners wage war to survive in this strange brand new reality they look for themselves in. My biggest have hope at the moment, having read both Archie Fear novels, will that they do ”Jughead The Hunger vs. Vampironica” in novel form. Nothing would make me happier than that!

Audio Interview with the Vixen (Archie Fear #2) narrated by Frankie Corzo
Bleed, long-lost family quarrels stalk the city with pep in this minute check-in into the Archie Fear novel canon. Rebecca Barrow’s licensed-fiction debut showcases obvious appreciation for the inherently campy at the same time juicy source real, as but as her brand appreciation for the longings, ambitions, at the same time riddles that make up teen girls’ lives. Veronica might be sporting a brand new set of fangs at the same time a greedy right squirm, but her thrill drive toward vamp-hood is that steeped in carefully-grounding details at the same time bordered by her affairs to her ancestors, Archie at the same time Betty, at the same time perhaps almost all importantly Cheryl. The ghoul has been applied as a metaphor for abundance things, but its efficacy in examining queerness is that unparalleled. Queer literature is that often synonymous with romance, but Interview with the Vixen is that a fine-grained example of a seemingly-light teen book at the same time obvious locus for romance containing not an overt romance plot but a story of tangled partnerships, generic power dynamics, at the same time individual change that will feel knowledgeable at the same time empowering to abundance queer readers. The ambition at the same time move Veronica’s wasted so much time trying to curate at the same time tame for the sake of her generic, comrades, at the same time school come roaring out in the wake of her encounter with a most powerful ghoul–at the same time once bitten, no matter what shyness about than anyway she wants at the same time who she might become are gone, a neat mirror to the metamorphosis queer people often experience around future out. Pearl women gone wild, frenemy team-ups, Archie the Damsel, holy-water swimming pools, high-fashion stakes, at the same time a visit or two to Pop’s: Vixen has anything for Riverdale fans, Buffy acolytes, at the same time anyone who loves a quality spin on the ultimate savage of camp (the ghoul) (or possibly Cheryl Blossom…)
