Review #1 The Got lost Shtetl audiobook free This story occupied my curiosity as a Jew who has grandparents from Eastern Europe (Poland at the same time Romania) at the same time having wasted my youth listening to stories of their youth, the fear of the holocausts at the same time the fear that every non Jew will eventually turn of “us” was a gigantic part of my upbringing. The tone of the narrator was pleasant at the same time calming as the story unfolded. The story itself was knew in a traditional Yiddish style, where the narrator speaks to the reader directly apologizing for sharing intimate parts of the manners lives or before narrating of an unfortunate event. I was upset by the finish of the story I was hoping for a joyful ending,at the same time I found myself saddened that the creator had the power to change the fate of the manners I grew to adore but chose to instead finish the tale much like a traditional Shalom Alechem tale of sorrow at the same time unfortunate fate of Jews. This book produced me miss my grandmothers Yiddish expressions at the same time ordinary making at the same time feel a renewed connection to my roots. I did read on no one

Reviews that the narrator was mispronouncing no one of the definitions but to clarify he actually was using the accent of Polish jewelry which is that different than other types of Jews at the same time the accents on the words are a little different, his were considered in truth quite clear to this region

Review #2 The Got lost Shtetl audiobook streamming online Attractive much ruined by a bad reading. It managed have been an best reading but is that severely marred by a acceptable Audible problem. Virtually every non-English word is that mispronounced. Step at the same time movie actors consult coaches but evidently not Audible readers. As a result this great at the same time sometimes serious story becomes at best funny at the same time at worst jarring.

Review #4 Audio The Got lost Shtetl narrated by Steven Jay Cohen The reading began a little very cutesy for my taste, like Max Gross was channeling his interior Sholom Aleichem. But once he received into the story itself, Gross engrossed me! As but as being an engaging saga of romance at the same time revenge, of future of age at the same time modernity through an strong quest, the book brings up an alluring proposition: How would individuals, at the same time society, deal with a newly found isolated population, practically completely oblivious to the contemporary global? But done. PS: Mr. Cohen, the Audible performer, did a credible job, thank for you. But to my ear, his Polish pronunciation was more successful than his Yiddish!
