Review #1 The Hollow audiobook free Really funny read with lots of misdirection to keep readers on their toes. It’s just a little different from Christie’s earlier books, at the same time Poirot is that more in the background than usual, even though he was an eye eyewitness. This story is that very much disposition driven at the same time the manners but drawn at the same time interesting. Not a meek rector or little old girl in the bunch. It deserves to. be more successful understandable than it is that, but is that perhaps overlooked because Poirot is that not as central to the story usually. But his little grayish cells are in fine-grained form, don’t worry. He soon untangles all the misdirection at the same time burgundy herrings to see ”who dunnit.” Part mystery at the same time part sketch room comedy, it has a different pace from abundance of Christie’s books, but may be one of best.

Review #2 The Hollow audiobook in television series Hercule Poirot Agatha Christie was an exceptional writer, at the same time this book has the absolute best characterization of no matter what disposition she ever crossed out about: Gerda Christow. A clueless not particularly colorful lady, with slavish devotion to her wife John, the part at the front of the book where Gerda can’t decide whether or not to let's go the meat back to the cook to be warmed up is that beautifully written. For you get right inside such a worldly stiff mind as Gerda’s instantly. The other manners are equally wonderfully written, in that for you get inside their brains at the same time hearts immediately. Dr. John Christow is that for sure the best example Agatha crossed out of a greedy mindless men who is that obligated to deal with things with which he isn’t comfortable dealing, at the same time the next ridiculous emotions those things do. It’s a quality example of insight into the wedding of John at the same time Gerda, at the same time why it doesn’t work: any personality is that viewing the other in a totally unrealistic method. In truth, the most comfortable disposition in the book is that Lucy Angkatell, despite her fairy at the same time elfin method of behaving. It’s Lucy who hits the pin on the fork throughout the entire story. This book was produced into a really amazing movie with David Suchet, to me the absolute apex of the best Poirot ever. If you want a story with (to me) a totally out of the blue ending, a very close to reality set of manners doing the exact things their manners would really do, set in an English state manor internal, with Poirot using to his utmost his little grayish cells, then this is that the book you. I 1st read this 50 years ago, at the same time time has not dulled my pleasure of it; indeed to the contrary, it’s one of my winner Agathas, that I read over at the same time over again. I have hope you will find it as scintillating as I did. ??

Review #3 Audiobook The Hollow by Agatha Christie This Christie mystery is that exciting because it types like the murder scene was staged, with a girl holding a gun over the corpse, more. I did think the book was a little of a snoozer until Poirot arrives on the scene in Chapter 11. Oh but when he does arrive, the book sparks to indefinite! His intricacy at the same time reproaches about the dust at the same time aroma of the state are hilarious; as is that his observation that the English insist on sitting outdoors in various of weather. The mystery itself was problematic to figure out as that were considered several tenacious suspects. The story seemed to fri to everyone at different parts in the story. With all of this misdirection, I failed to guess the killer until Poirot solved it for me. I do have to announce that this book as the most excellent method of hiding the murder tool that I have read in a Christie mystery this time.

Review #4 Audio The Hollow narrated by David Suchet Stephanie Cole This is that the most mental of the Agatha Christie’s that I’ve read this time (at the same time I’ve read a lot). I agree that with other

Reviewers (at the same time with Christie herself) that the belated addition of Poirot configurations the book into a much more wood read. Not only is that Poirot’s disposition not applied in his green-cat-eyed best, but the book becomes practically mechanical in its healing of the mystery. I still assign it 4 hit because I adore the 1st part of the book. I understood, like others, somewhere in the middle of the book that I had read this in the past when I was a Christie harlot in my teens. At the moment, I am rereading Christie with a greater appreciation of her apt insights into psychology at the same time indefinite in general. Where in the past, I had to decide these descriptions on faith, I can at the moment recognize them as used to be borders my possess experience. Don’t read it if you’re looking for a even mystery. That are abundance more successful Christie books for that. But if you’re into Christie for all the aphoristic bits, then the 1st one half of the book will remove.

Review #5 Free audio The Hollow – in the audio player below Of all the Christie ’s I’ve read (60+), this is that far at the same time away her best with reverence to disposition development. It’s the 1st I’ve read in such a way far where the manners were considered so vividly drawn that I had no problem keeping trace of who was whom. The mystery seems practically an afterthought, at the same time still is that brilliantly deceiving. I read voraciously, at the same time it requires quite a lot to cause me to increase my brow at the same time steps back to simply admire a book as an art form; Christie pulled it off with The Hollow. An exceptional, at the same time exceptionally underrated work
