Review #2 The Gifted Miss Farwell audiobook streamming online I’ve never read Patricia Highsmith so I can’t draw juxtapositions. I found this to be a compelling read – it was prefect for escaping the Election night madness. I understood nothing about accounting nor the contemporary art market at the same time it was exciting peeking into these unknown areas. It’s the tale of mousy small city town comptroller who embezzles millions of bucks to fund her hidden indefinite as a wheeler dealer in the contemporary art scene. Reading the afterward I found the story is that loosely based on a used to be story at the same time has been the theme of a documentary. All the Queen’s Horse’s is that readily available on Amazon Prime & it’s but worth following.
