Exactly more of the past, though. This glorious time is that on one more level. Completely gripping at the same time visceral, aggressive at the same time exciting. This is that my 1st time reading anything by Andy Smillie, at the same time I can’t praise him enough on his worldly at the same time ability as a writer in general, much much less capturing the grim black feel of Warhammer 40k. Tore it flawlessly. His Flesh Tearers have usurped the Place Wolves as my brand new winner “quality guys” to read about at the moment. Nassir Amit at the same time Gabriel Seth are written barely flawless, spot on at the same time bad ass. Highly advise for no matter what into military sci fi, or barely higher octane violence coupled with exquisite writing. Take this. Read this.

Comprised of several shorter stories to make an overall narrative — a couple of which I have listened to (abundance times) as audiobooks — I quit this book with connected emotions. On one palm, I really enjoyed it all. On the other, I wish more! More of Amit in the aftermath of the Lies, at the same time more of Seth in the 41st millennium. My winner manners in the stories could be Amit at the same time Harahel. A job but done, Mr. Smillie!
