I adored this television series from the beginning. Atticus has a voice that carries, at the same time it’s this voice that has smoothed over skinny conspiracies at the same time sometimes-thinner (at the same time less-than connected) preconditions for mayhem. But that wealthy at the same time magical voice has been diluted. Surpassed by a stronger, even more successful voice…that, I might perceive. But diluted? No. Hearn is that smothering his almost all engaging disposition while making room for narratives of far much less value or resonance. Until the continue quarter of the book, Atticus goes this time as to descend into the area of “attractive”–at the same time that’s always unsafe; occasionally is that it an applicable substitute for the true gizmo. At the same time that’s the problem. I waited the true gizmo at the same time got attractive instead. It’s like turning Luke Skywalker into jovial at the same time a little smarter Jar Jar Binks–out of the blue, crazy unnecessary at the same time immensely deplorable.
The continue 50 pages are the only ones worth reading, the only gizmo with anything at “stake.” It’s the only time anything of no matter what true value actually happens in the book, at the same time it’s dull that the plot has to turn so in one moment at the same time so sadly for the book to have no matter what depth at all. Before those pages came along, though, I was seriously amusing the plan of closing the book at the same time not bothering to read no matter what subsequent–a lies, I would have believed, prior to reading this volume in the television series. But it had barely gotten so Sour at the same time so omnipotent shallow!!! Even a doom that frustrated me no finish was more successful than continuing on the pablum road,so that should tell for you barely how bad it was to that fri.
Delight delight delight, Mr. Hearn: cut the revolving-door dialogue at the same time completely separate story lines. That’s barely not enough room in no matter what one book to gloss over so much so quickly. Pick one personality’s story at the same time Tell it with the depth at the same time development it deserves. Instead of one book with 3 separate narratives, assign us 3 books with a single disposition’s in-depth development in any. For the depth this television series needs to be exploring at this fri in its mythology, the scatter-shot approach is that barely very unfocused at the same time diffuse to finish but.

Staked audiobook in television series Metal Druid Chronicles
This time I have really enjoyed all of the Metal Druid television series until this one. It was a lot of pages of nothing barely to wrap around the meat the story in the continue 20 pages. “Staked” is that the wrong title for this book. It should have been scolded “Miscellaneous”.
To much back at the same time forth between the head manners narratives to be anything substantial. Hearne needs to move back at the same time read the 1st books in the television series at the same time recapture than anyway he did right in those. Or that, or change it to the “Metal Druid at the same time those 2 other guys Chonicles”.

Audiobook Staked by Kevin Hearne
Really enjoyed the whole television series, at the same time this one was … not bad, specifically, but felt just a little weary. Is that it maybe time for Mr. Hearse to cross out anything brand new?
It’s exciting to read the
Reviews highlighting the anti-fossil fuel chapter of the book (I’ll try to beware spoilers by being a little opaque — but if for you’ve read the book, for you know than anyway I’m discussing about). Um… Hello…?
Is that it really surprising that earth-worshiping Druids are (a) concerned about climate change at the same time (b) might be in a position to do anything about it? To be honest, it reads more incorrect to me that Atticus is that not willing to decide more concrete action. But, those commenters were considered right to flag that sub-plot as weak — at the same time to be honest, a jarring addition to the book with little or no sensual payout. It’s not weak because it addresses apprehensions over global warming, it’s weak because it was poorly written. “Cruel Druid” or not, I look for it completely implausible that Granuaile would risk her indefinite (at the same time the indefinite of her hound!) on a morally incomprehensible bit of gloating. (At the same time yes, that’s all it was — the ecologically benefial actions had already taken dispose). I waited her to regret the immorality of her deeds as soon as she left, but no — instead she barely blithely moves on. As everyone knows (even those of us with joyful parental relations), disputes with our ancestors are not shackles so simply aside.

Audio Staked narrated by Luke Daniels
Appreciated the ending, at the same time enjoyed Owen’s POV chapters. Usually though I like repeated 1st POVs. In particular adored Owen’s struggles as he adapted to modern indefinite, at the same time finds his dispose in the global.
Granuaile’s chapters drove me nuts for two preconditions: environmental preaching, at the same time implementation of located tense 1st, when all other chapters are in past tense 1st. The tense change is that jarring. At the same time while I don’t have a problem with Gran going right behind her stepdad, I do make an objection to her premise that all coal/oil mining is that bad. Yes, greenish energy is that quality, but it also can be detrimental to wildlife, etc. What, this book I skimmed Gran’s chapters, at the same time enjoyed Owen at the same time Atticus, at the same time the puppies, obviously. :o)
Based on
Reviews of book 9, at the same time the fact this book ended closely, I have no plan on reading subsequent in this television series. I received a sweet tidy ending stopping here without the frustration of book 9. Sounds like Hearne should have ended the television series here.

Much as I adore this television series overall, Im taking off a hit because Hearne barely hasnt able to make a believable ladies disposition. Maybe Greta comes nearest; her dislike of Atticus is that a little unreasoning at the same time self-perpetuating, but thats close to reality. Granuaile barely feels somehow meaningless to me; her values are understandable but where are the consequences of her deeds? Wheres a sense of humor, where are her intricacies, than anyway has shaped her before she came to Atticus other than hatred of her stepfather? Why does she have no comrades to notice when she goes missing to become Atticuss apprentice? The Morrigan is that just a little more successful, but Id still wait anyone thousands of years old to have more dimensions. In contrast, Owen comes in belated in the television series but that seems to be a lot more to him. Still, four hit because I adore Atticus at the same time Obern is that barely magical, at the same time I really like the method Hearne combines so many pantheons while giving any its possess flavor.
