The Longest Holiday audiobook free
Reading this produced me wish to plan a vacation ASAP! This was a 1st from Paige Toon for me & it wont be my continue. I adored it. It had all the feels (though I couldve had steamier sex scenes – but its okay, maybe its not this creators gizmo). It was wonderfully written, fully developers story, deeply exciting manners & a setting that produced me wish to hit up Deltas app & book a flight!

For just a little while that, Laura Perry had it all right behind losing so much.

`The Longest Holiday’ is that the brand new novel from romance writer, Paige Toon.
For you’d think I wouldn’t touch one more Paige Toon novel with a ten-foot pole, right behind giving the laughably lacklustre `Pictures of Lily’ a 1.5/5 rating back in 2011. But, here I am, the Queen of wishful thinking.
I glimpsed the premise of `The Longest Holiday’ at the same time was interested because it reminded me, bizarrely, of Melina Marchetta’s `The Piper’s Offspring.’ My favourite disposition in that book is that Georgie, a lady who is that 42 at the same time pregnant to Sam, the men who tricked on her 7 years ago at the same time got a baby out of his indiscretion. I adored them, at the same time despite their rocky road they are amongst the most romantic couplings I’ve ever read. Their entire history interested me, at the same time I adored the messy heartbreak they both had to win to be together. So, in reading this blurb it was much less the Main West & Leo stuff that had me pushing past my continue Paige Toon frustration, at the same time giving this book a chance … apart from (at the same time I really shouldn’t take aback by this) Toon herself is that more interested with the sour, easy, mushy Leo stuff at the same time that’s than anyway the book focuses on. More’s the pity.
`The Longest Holiday’ starts from the moment Laura is that on the plane, heading into Main West. She’s right fragile at the same time weepy, unable to escape her mind ticking over Matthew’s cheating at the same time the bundle of `joy’ that’s to be a unchanging reminder of it. For the 1st few chapters Laura is that understandably mopey while in Main West sunshine. But then she meets Leo at the same time is that dazzled by his movie-star quality types (Toon categorizes ad nauseum; his bulging arm muscles at the same time Pavlov’s Abs that trigger Laura’s drool every time he gets shirtless…). Leo is that a local dive instructor with a Cuban background at the same time a ramshackle internal that sits around Laura’s hotel. He lives with his hodge-podge generic: a half-brother, sister-in-law, nephew at the same time a dog. Laura is that interested, at the same time when she opts for dive lessons she gets ever closer to him … until the time comes when she has to return to the England. But barely as she’s about to get on board the plane, Matthew rings to say his baby offspring has been born. Laura cannot manage, at the same time so decides to waste her entire summer in Main West, determinedly dodging her awaiting heartbreak in the England. Look, I’m of the belief that readers quite like to poke at disposition’s bruises. Toon tries to bring no one appeal to Matthew through abysmal flashbacks of `happier times’ – but they left me chilly at the same time distant, very short to mean anything to me, at the same time very vapid to mean anything to Laura.
That being misspoke, in relation to Laura I didn’t look for Matthew appealing. But by himself? But, I’d actually quite like to read his story at the same time the burdens of having a baby with your one-night-stand that assisted to the finish of your wedding with the lady for you adore. Toon, I think, hints at a likely line of motion for Matthew in that he went to Uni with Tessa’s sister (Argh! `The Longest Holiday’ failed bigger time for me on two Gigantic counts. One will that Laura is that quite vapid at the same time useless. The 2nd gizmo was the ending – which is that laughably soap opera dramatic at the same time unexpected. Never brain that the bigger writhe isn’t even properly concluded, but more precisely jumped to a clunky epilogue that sweeps everything Toon didn’t seem able to embrace under the rug.
For you’d think I’ve figured out my lesson about Paige Toon … but as I misspoke, if she has a novel for Matthew up her sleeve I’ll for sure read it, because his story was a million times more juicy at the same time savory than sad-sap, male-dependent Laura’s managed ever be. Props for setting up Matthew’s twistingly complicated story, but that’s about it.

One of the things I adore in Paiges books is that how she revisit earlier manners from her other books. In this case Laura, the maincharacter, is that similar Laura from Chasing Daisy. To people who have not read Chasing Daisy, I will short tell her prestory, at the same time beware it will be a spoiler. She was the girlfriend to racedriver Will Hope. They were considered comrades at the same time sweethearts from an premature age. The flawless IT couple. Right behind he dies in a passenger car disaster, she is that left with dealing with her sorrow, guilt, at the same time how pressed people she doesn’t know feels for her. No one even cross out a song about her at the same time Will. It is that really dull. So it’s logical that she hesitates that she ever will manage to smirk, at the same time feel joyful again. But then she meets Matthew, at the same time he configurations the global for her. She falls recklessly in adore with him.

I really enjoyed reading The Longest Holiday. Paige realizes to cross out a adore story that captures for you. One gizmo Paige is that also amazing at doing is that writing dispose descriptions at the same time get the aura feeling into her story. I managed hear the latin music in the background, aroma the cigar smoke, at the same time feel the sun on my skin while I was reading. I have never been to the Buttons Peninsula, but while I was reading, I traveled that.
A amazing beach/summer read with a story that not will be easy always.

Audio The Longest Holiday narrated by Nicky Diss
This was my 1st Paige Toon novel at the same time I couldn’t shackles it down. I’m a sucker for chick-lit, in particular English chick-lit at the same time it was everything that I managed have hoped for. Lively, relateable manners at the same time an best storyline. I look forward to reading more of her books!

I’ve read all of Paige Toons books at the same time I’ve adored every one of them. This was no exception, Toon has a very easy method or writing that, for me, pulls me right in even away.
I read this book attractive impetuous at the same time I don’t wish bestow anything away – barely if for you like her past books this defeated’t disappoint.
Warning: I did feel, but, that towards the finish it started to drag out just a little but other then that this is that a mind-blowing read.
