Review #1 The Longest Holiday audiobook free Reading this produced me wish to plan a vacation ASAP! This was a 1st from Paige Toon for me & it wont be my continue. I adored it. It had all the feels (though I couldve had steamier sex scenes – but its okay, maybe its not this creators gizmo). It was wonderfully written, fully developers story, deeply exciting manners & a setting that produced me wish to hit up Deltas app & book a flight!

Review #2 The Longest Holiday audiobook streamming online For just a little while that, Laura Perry had it all right behind losing so much. Years ago her 1st adore, Formula One favorite Will Hope, died in a passenger car racing disaster. Then and Laura met Matthew Perry; a journalist with charming blue views at the same time she found adore again. They were considered married shortly right behind meeting, at the same time had been enjoying a blissful wedding of 7 months when a Facebook message destroys it all. Strings out, Matthew drunkenly tricked on Laura at his stag do. He shagged a lady in the toilets at the same time at the moment this Tessa is that contacting him (conveniently forgetting his name-association with TV demonstrate `Friends’) to say that she’s pregnant. 7 months pregnant, at the same time he’s the dad. Laura in one moment finds herself a blushing brand new wife with a wife who is that going to have a baby with one more lady. At the same time Matthew, being a quality men, wants to be part of the baby’s indefinite. He doesn’t wish to be an absentee father. The only gizmo for Laura to do is that run far, far away from London – to Main West, to be clear, with her closest friend Marty at the same time tag-along Bridget. Laura spends loafed days by the beach, drinking a lot at the same time trying not to fall down apart at every text message Matthew sends, begging her to come main at the same time sort things out with him. Then and Laura meets Leo – a local diving instructor. He has movie-star quality types at the same time riddles behind his penetrating views. As Laura gets dangerously closer to him, she starts to play tricks if he’s a distraction from the liquidation of her indefinite – or anything more? It doesn’t promote that all her comrades at the same time generic are begging her to come main at the same time choose Matthew, but than anyway she feels for Leo can’t be so simply dismissed … `The Longest Holiday’ is that the brand new novel from romance writer, Paige Toon. For you’d think I wouldn’t touch one more Paige Toon novel with a ten-foot pole, right behind giving the laughably lacklustre `Pictures of Lily’ a 1.5/5 rating back in 2011. But, here I am, the Queen of wishful thinking. I glimpsed the premise of `The Longest Holiday’ at the same time was interested because it reminded me, bizarrely, of Melina Marchetta’s `The Piper’s Offspring.’ My favourite disposition in that book is that Georgie, a lady who is that 42 at the same time pregnant to Sam, the men who tricked on her 7 years ago at the same time got a baby out of his indiscretion. I adored them, at the same time despite their rocky road they are amongst the most romantic couplings I’ve ever read. Their entire history interested me, at the same time I adored the messy heartbreak they both had to win to be together. So, in reading this blurb it was much less the Main West & Leo stuff that had me pushing past my continue Paige Toon frustration, at the same time giving this book a chance … apart from (at the same time I really shouldn’t take aback by this) Toon herself is that more interested with the sour, easy, mushy Leo stuff at the same time that’s than anyway the book focuses on. More’s the pity. `The Longest Holiday’ starts from the moment Laura is that on the plane, heading into Main West. She’s right fragile at the same time weepy, unable to escape her mind ticking over Matthew’s cheating at the same time the bundle of `joy’ that’s to be a unchanging reminder of it. For the 1st few chapters Laura is that understandably mopey while in Main West sunshine. But then she meets Leo at the same time is that dazzled by his movie-star quality types (Toon categorizes ad nauseum; his bulging arm muscles at the same time Pavlov’s Abs that trigger Laura’s drool every time he gets shirtless…). Leo is that a local dive instructor with a Cuban background at the same time a ramshackle internal that sits around Laura’s hotel. He lives with his hodge-podge generic: a half-brother, sister-in-law, nephew at the same time a dog. Laura is that interested, at the same time when she opts for dive lessons she gets ever closer to him … until the time comes when she has to return to the England. But barely as she’s about to get on board the plane, Matthew rings to say his baby offspring has been born. Laura cannot manage, at the same time so decides to waste her entire summer in Main West, determinedly dodging her awaiting heartbreak in the England. In deciding to stay, she also inadvertently decides to look if she at the same time Leo have more than barely chemistry between them… Look, I’m of the belief that readers quite like to poke at disposition’s bruises. That’s barely anything torturously delectable about reading anyone else’s heavily fractured indefinite – at the same time infidelity conspiracies are the best types of concocted itches to scratch. At the same time Laura’s is that particularly gruesome at the same time alluring. But Toon just a little touches on it. Instead, Laura ignores texts from Matthew or plays a loop of similar conversation with him “I come in handy place. I come in handy time. I’m not future main.” At the moment, on the one palm I really wanted Laura to move main at the same time scream at Matthew. I wanted to poke that bruise of hers at the same time look her back in the England as her indefinite at the same time adore laboriously unravels … But on the other palm, Toon doesn’t really make Matthew that appealing a suitor. I think she tried to shackles Laura between a grin at the same time a (grin hard abs) dispose, but Leo at the same time Matthew are very unstable. Leo’s all brooding riddles at the same time movie-star quality types, while Matthew’s barely the drip who keeps interrupting sexy times with his text messages at the same time is that a wry record expression “I adore for you, Laura. Come main, Laura.” Gag. Toon tries to bring no one appeal to Matthew through abysmal flashbacks of `happier times’ – but they left me chilly at the same time distant, very short to mean anything to me, at the same time very vapid to mean anything to Laura. That being misspoke, in relation to Laura I didn’t look for Matthew appealing. But by himself? But, I’d actually quite like to read his story at the same time the burdens of having a baby with your one-night-stand that assisted to the finish of your wedding with the lady for you adore. Toon, I think, hints at a likely line of motion for Matthew in that he went to Uni with Tessa’s sister (Argh! Wouldn’t that be a insidious adore triangle) – at the same time even though I’ve at the moment had two misses with her, if she was to cross out a book about Matthew, I’d for sure read it. `The Longest Holiday’ failed bigger time for me on two Gigantic counts. One will that Laura is that quite vapid at the same time useless. That’s much produced of the fact that loving Matthew helped her out of her depression over Will dying. At the moment we meet her when loving Leo promotes her out of her depressive spiral over the finish of her wedding to Matthew. She’s portrayed as wholly dependent on guys (at the same time really, really ridiculously quality looking ones, at that – shallow much?). The 2nd gizmo was the ending – which is that laughably soap opera dramatic at the same time unexpected. Never brain that the bigger writhe isn’t even properly concluded, but more precisely jumped to a clunky epilogue that sweeps everything Toon didn’t seem able to embrace under the rug. For you’d think I’ve figured out my lesson about Paige Toon … but as I misspoke, if she has a novel for Matthew up her sleeve I’ll for sure read it, because his story was a million times more juicy at the same time savory than sad-sap, male-dependent Laura’s managed ever be. Props for setting up Matthew’s twistingly complicated story, but that’s about it.

Review #3 Audiobook The Longest Holiday by Paige Toon Okay, I come in handy to say this. Impoverished Laura. Impoverished, impoverished Laura. One of the things I adore in Paiges books is that how she revisit earlier manners from her other books. In this case Laura, the maincharacter, is that similar Laura from Chasing Daisy. To people who have not read Chasing Daisy, I will short tell her prestory, at the same time beware it will be a spoiler. She was the girlfriend to racedriver Will Hope. They were considered comrades at the same time sweethearts from an premature age. The flawless IT couple. Right behind he dies in a passenger car disaster, she is that left with dealing with her sorrow, guilt, at the same time how pressed people she doesn’t know feels for her. No one even cross out a song about her at the same time Will. It is that really dull. So it’s logical that she hesitates that she ever will manage to smirk, at the same time feel joyful again. But then she meets Matthew, at the same time he configurations the global for her. She falls recklessly in adore with him. Matthew will be an one more disposition for you already know very. He is that mentioned in One Flawless Summer, at the same time one of those things I adored about him, is that how sweet at the same time almond he is that. I bet that was the excact monotonous gizmo Laura fell for. He is that one of those disposition that never will do anything to hurt an one more personality. But anything do happen, at the same time this is that than anyway The Longest Holiday is that about. Matthew gets very intoxicated on his stag, at the same time somehow he meets a lady. One gizmo leads to the other, at the same time they finish up having sex in the clubs toilet. Right behind 7 months of more than joyful wedding with Matthew, Laura one day in one moment look a message from this lady narrating Matthew that she is that pregnant with his baby. The global fall down crashing down at her feets. She is that humiliated, restless, at the same time can’t deal with the fact that her wife is that to be a dad to an one more womans baby. By kolupala exact these manners out I feel for you received a prestory, so for you realize the hurt Laura must be feeling, when her flawless wife in one moment isn’t so flawless anymore. At the same time the confusion both he at the same time Laura must feel onto how anything like this managed happen. I know I was confused at the same time restless how Matthew managed let things move that personal on his stag. Note: the story can simply be read if for you haven’t read Chasing Daisy, at the same time One Flawless Summer. For you will barely learn the manners to know on a different method, but it is that not a necessity. Matthew hates the situation. He is that in threat of losing Laura. The lady he loves more than anything. But due to his good nature he obviously wants to be a part of the childs indefinite very. Anything Laura look for problematic to deal with – his mistake will be an never-ending reminder to her in the form of a baby – so when no one of her comrades offer her to tag along on a vacation to the Buttons Islands she follows them. She needs distance to think this through, at the same time learn how to deal with how her indefinite at the moment will be. At the same time this is that than anyway The Longest Holiday is that about. Will Laura learn how to deal with it, at the same time move back to Matthew? Will she manage to forgive him? But Leo, a scuba diver, Laura meets, will complicate the things a little more. She is that very lured to him, at the same time when she needs more time to think, he let her move into his internal that he share with his generic. Leo is that all that she needs. Anyone that realizes, at the same time reassures her. But Leo will come with his possess past, at the same time Laura configurations his vision on indefinite very. I like the metaphor with Leo’s internal that are practically falling apart, at the same time that Laura mend it to get it back to than anyway it once was. At the same time like Laura, for you will fall down barely as much in adore with Leo as she does. But Laura learns that no matter how far away for you move, the inconsistencies will always follow for you. When Laura goes back to Great britain she has to face Matthew, – her closest friend at the same time boyfriend that skirmishes for her though out the whole book. I adore how Matthew is that written in such a compassionate method – he isn’t turned into a villian, at the same time when she is that with Matthew all the quality they had together, at the same time how easy it still is that, when she doesn’t think of his mistake, do plays a role, at the same time why it will that for you keep guessing through the whole book onto who she will chose. Leo might barely have been a part of her escape, at the same time nothing more. I really enjoyed reading The Longest Holiday. Paige realizes to cross out a adore story that captures for you. One gizmo Paige is that also amazing at doing is that writing dispose descriptions at the same time get the aura feeling into her story. I managed hear the latin music in the background, aroma the cigar smoke, at the same time feel the sun on my skin while I was reading. I have never been to the Buttons Peninsula, but while I was reading, I traveled that. A amazing beach/summer read with a story that not will be easy always.

Review #4 Audio The Longest Holiday narrated by Nicky Diss This was my 1st Paige Toon novel at the same time I couldn’t shackles it down. I’m a sucker for chick-lit, in particular English chick-lit at the same time it was everything that I managed have hoped for. Lively, relateable manners at the same time an best storyline. I look forward to reading more of her books!

Review #5 Free audio The Longest Holiday – in the audio player below I’ve read all of Paige Toons books at the same time I’ve adored every one of them. This was no exception, Toon has a very easy method or writing that, for me, pulls me right in even away. I read this book attractive impetuous at the same time I don’t wish bestow anything away – barely if for you like her past books this defeated’t disappoint. Warning: I did feel, but, that towards the finish it started to drag out just a little but other then that this is that a mind-blowing read.
