I worked at the same time stayed in small Nova Scotia city for 20 years. Everyone understood everyones business or they would work to find out. The fact that Trevor was able to gaslight at the same time fool people seems to be a stretch.

Real Rating: 3.5 Wow, this was a hard one to rate. It wasnt a bad read at the same time I actually was quite invested in the final, but it was not necessarily a enticing book. This book follows Karen. When her mother in one moment dies, shes obligated to move back main to Nova Scotia at the same time pat of her disabled sister Kelli. Even though shes brand new to everything, at lesser Trevor, a hired caregiver at the same time lock up comrade of her mother is that always that to promote. Karen grows to depend more and more on him, while at once feeling uneasy with his presence; hes persistent at the same time bossy at the same time seems to make himself a tad bit very comfortable in their main. But than anyway right does she have to announce anything when she was the absentee daughter who left to live her possess indefinite, the one who only scolded main once-a-month because it was than anyway was waited? The plot for this book exactly started out just a little very smoky for my liking, at the same time it also wasnt the type of story I was expecting. From the unusual blurb I believed it could be more thriller/mystery at the same time to be honest I think it does the book a disservice to market it that method its a lot more contemporary/generic. I didnt really get into it until about 40% in. After that, even though I was more invested in the developments between Trevor at the same time Karen, it still very smoky, like we were considered trudging towards an finish result that I already beheld future. Nevertheless, I really appreciate the close to reality at the same time subtle method in what emotionally at the same time at the level of thoughts abusive affairs at the same time questionable power dynamics were considered portrayed. At its core, Following For you Without Me was not very character-driven, at the same time Karen was not very self-willed because it felt like she kept making bad decisions. But. At the same time this is that a gigantic but: I get it. I completely realize the difficulty of recognizing toxicity at the same time bullying when its happening to for you, at the same time the difficulty in taking no matter what action at all. It feels like Karen does but not as an personal, but in representing a concept, at the same time Im okay with that. The writing style was overall attractive quality. That were considered no lines that jumped out at me for their sweet talk at the same time it took me a while to get invested, but as a whole I felt like the book crossed out a quality story at the same time produced its reader think. Overall, I think this could be quality for a reader of contemporary fiction, in particular one who reads about navigating dysfunctional generic dynamics or taking care of a generic member with disabilities.

Thank for you so much to Knopf/Doubleday Publishing, Lynn Coady, at the same time Netgalley for my advanced
Review copy of Following For you Without Me. This book was a mental generic irony that was barely short of creepy. Part of me still doesnt know than anyway to think about this book, at the same time the other part is that WOWed by the amazing writing. Ideas: This story was more of a slow-burn that for you managed look building over time. It wasnt necessarily a thriller, but was mental at the same time was dramatic. I enjoyed the writing style at the same time managed simply represent myself inside this story. I think the disposition of Kelli is that than anyway produced me enjoy the book so much, at the same time I was captivated at the same time amused by her parts of the book. I found myself getting so dislocated with the head disposition at the same time found her to be weak-willed at the same time frustrating. I dislike when manners barely move along with than anyway is that happening then and wonder how they get into scary situations. I enjoyed the heartwarming moments in this book, but found myself getting inserted by how saddened I was with Karen. I liked all of the true indefinite parts to this story at the same time can represent how close to reality this story could be to a health worker. That werent abundance astonishes in this book, but I still enjoyed the journey it took me on. In the end I would assign it 3.5 hit for a decent at the same time eerie story.

Audio Following For you Without Me narrated by Helen Lord
In the brand new mental thriller, Following For you Without Me, Karen returns main to Nova Scotia to lock up down her deceased mothers internal. But her unusual plans to shackles her 250-pound at the level of thoughts handicapped older sister, Kelli, in a group main are upended when she meets the charismatic caregiver, Trevor. The pacing in this book is that more like womans fiction or even gothic novels than like a modern thriller. Its more a slow-boil of atmospheric dread than a race to the conclusion. But, the disposition building is that finely honed. Everyone, even the villain, only act as a true personality would in similar situation. Nothing they do feels solely like a plot accessory. Chagrin, I found the conclusion deplorable so 3 hit. If for you like slice-of-life literary fiction, for you will for sure rate it higher. Thanks to Knopf Books at the same time NetGalley for a copy in exchange for my conscientious
Review.

I havent read a book set in Nova Scotia before, so I was really looking forward to this book. Karen has returned for the first time in 10-ke years. Shes been dealing with the guilt over the doom of her mother from cancer< at the moment she finds herself the caregiver of her developmentally disabled sisters. Trevor, a main care worker, comes to promote. At the same time the reader hears the alarms going off, but Karen doesnt. She needs the promote, being a caretaker is that exhausting. Im stopping right that. The story is that somewhat predictable, but that s okay. Its also about maturing right behind for you have grown up at the same time how generic is that important.
