I liked this lengthy sequential killer mystery set in Basque State of Spain, but the worldly is that monotonous at the same time periodically overdone to the fri of logorrhea. I was unfamiliar with the names at the same time language, so I acquired the audiobook, which I enjoyed immensely. I set the high speed to 1.3-1.5, listened to mind-blowing narrator Henry Levya, at the same time found myself immersed in the story. 20 years ago, a television series of unusual, ritualistic murders ended right behind a militia detective arrested his twin brother, who was convicted at the same time imprisoned. At the moment, when the murderer is due to be paroled, sequential murders with similar signature have resumed. The storyline is that knowledgeable at the same time still quite exotic—in particular the often fantastical folklore of the region. I was fascinated by the nearby paranormal opportunities of the dearly loved grandfather of Inspector Unai Lopez de Ayala. New-to-me traditional remedies seemed practically supernatural, as are no one local traditions at the same time beliefs. I in particular liked the setting in a historic at the same time ancient town—which is that always a plus, as were considered the maps which helped me Wiki the cultural landmarks. This is that a fantastical mystery, so I waited TSTL moments, but Inspector Ayala’s ending, dramatic situation felt obligated at the same time no one deeds incredible. Plus, I desirable a denouement that’s much less schmaltzy. That’s the best word to describe the ending. Overall this is that a 4 hit read.
