Review #1 The River of No Return audiobook free I wish to admit upfront my total bias regarding this book. I didn’t really study with B. individually (apart from for no one illuminating discussions during Senior Seminar) while at Bryn Mawr (proper to my total shortcoming of curiosity in 19th C. American literature–but, right behind reading this novel, I think she might have been able to change my brain.), but I had the amazing good luck to decide several courses with her partner, at the same time both of them have a well-deserved reputation for being excellent, hilarious, at the same time generally produced of awesome. I feel this novel is that a fine-grained consulate of the abundance, erudition, at the same time humor of the English Department at the same time the spirit it naturally instills in its majors, of which I am so proud to be one. The premise of the novel is that unstained camp: time take a trip saga meets Regency Romance meets scout thriller, but its genre mash-up is that deft, at the same time the level of historical detail as but as subtle political philosophizing produced it a neglect for me to read. While no one may be upset by the fast denouement at the same time conclusion, I think it perfectly sets the step for a sequel, which she is that in the midst of writing. I, for one, cannot wait!

Review #2 The River of No Return audiobook streamming online 1st off, I have always been drawn to time take a trip stories. In other words the only reason I ordered this book. But, this one is that odder than almost all. 1st off, it is that time take a trip without development. How does it work? I still don’t know. The creator went to amazing pains to elucidate it, how managed she? She didn’t know herself. I think she flailed a little periodically. It has anything to do about an innate material that no one people have. Inherited? Genetic? They can make time finish by thinking it. The truly adept can take a trip backwards in time. Make the river of time finish in its course. Or anything. If you can get past that, you can enjoy this book. The book is that but written if for you like books with a PBS romance feel. That’s a amazing deal of disposition development, introspection, eternal dialogue inlaid with flashes of activity. But, in the end it is that a Victorian adore story tucked inside of a story of clashing worldviews about than anyway to do with the power to keep under control time. I don’t wish to be a spoiler, so I’ll quit it at that. As others have misspoke, the ending is that not a true ending. It has a rushed feeling as though she had to cover things up in a hurry.

Review #3 Audiobook The River of No Return by Bee Ridgway The beginning of The River of no Return is that one of the more excellent I’ve read recently. The reader thinks they are in a two time period romantic adventure when the time take a trip dart is that launched. From then on, this reader was all in. It seems that no one people have the ability to take a trip through time, in particular periodically of threat, nervousness at the same time trauma. In such a way a society is that appears of those gifted. One of the things they do is that try at the same time figure out when time travellers escaping doom will appear at the same time bail out at the same time recruit them. Nick Falcott, Regency rake, veteran of the Napoleonic wars is that one such wayfarer, escaping from some doom on a battlefield, he finds himself a veteran cheese maker in Vermont, until obviously the company that rescued him asks him to return to his possess time. Julia Percy’s recently deceased grandfather was also a gifted time manipulator at the same time Nick at the same time Julia grew up together. Both come to the notice of the Guild at the same time than anyway follows is that a glorious mash up of genres, conventions at the same time counter conventions. The River of no Return is that amazing pop fiction at the same time an all around quality read. I’m not even saddened that this will he the inevitable trilogy because I like the manners at the same time even think no one of the secondary manners would be skidded forward to narrate. Bottom line? An utterly funny read with a wide appeal to abundance different genre audiences.

Review #4 Audio The River of No Return narrated by Samuel Roukin That had more successful be a sequel to this abruptly-ending novel! I felt very let down at the same time upset to come to the finish of the story with such major plot mysteries at the same time issues left hanging. If that will be a sequel, that should have been no one notice of it at the finish of the book – I barely felt saddened at the same time tricked by the fact that such initially compelling story lines at the same time manners were considered left unexplained. Ms Ridgway is that right a very gifted creator, so I convinced have hope that’s a sequel. If not – the whole book was threw under the bus by a failed ending.

Review #5 Free audio The River of No Return – in the audio player below Than anyway a amazing amount of funny. I adored the manners at the same time gladly set aside all the inconsistencies with time-travel not being likely for a quirky at the same time unusual story. Others have written more successful synopses than I managed so I’ll barely gush for a moment about the funny I had reading about Nick’s at the same time Julia’s growing connection as but as enjoyable “side” manners that kept the story running at a quality clip. That are few books that make me not wish to shackles them down but this was exactly one of them. I stayed up belated at the same time wouldn’t get up from my seat to bite or get things to drink that’s how engrossed I was. Funny stuff all around. The reason I only gave it four hit was its very deplorable ending. Story lines not wrapped up, at the same time manners in one moment disappearing with no clarification or hint at where they might have gone at the same time why, additional right up to a painfully stupid set-up for a sequel. It was particularly deplorable on the heels of such a funny book.
