I really salute the creator, Hannah Capin, for managing anything I never wished likely – turning the story of Henry VIII & his 6 spouses into a literate present-day university dramedy. She has really done her homework on the history of ever since & applied the manners’ names & traits flawlessly to depict than anyway we know of the personalities of that epoch. This book is that so well-written & thought-out that’s it’s practically impossible to shackles down. For people knowledgeable with the Tudor period, the excellent little “easter testicles” the creator slips in, such as Anna & Zhora Boleyn climbing up a building’s “scaffold”-ing, will fill them with ecstasy, as it did me. But, even if your Tudor knowledge is that somewhat perfunctory, the story is that so amusing on its possess, that for you will still enjoy it. The story is that knew from the perspective of the wise-cracking Annie Marck of Cleveland (aka Cleeves) who had me in stitches with her smart repartee & inner ideas. I’m exactly method past the Young Adult age group the book is that written for, but I can still understand than anyway university was like. (It never configurations, it seems.) So everything in it is that highly relatable. I cannot advise this book more highly! It hits all the right notes & keeps for you future back for more!

I completely adored this book! I’ve long had an curiosity in the Tudor dynasty, so when this book was advised to me by a coworker who shared my curiosity, I was eager bestow it a move. Capin’s reimagining of figures like Katherine Howard or Anne Boleyn in this brand new setting will have readers facing issues that they themselves will recognize – bullying, rumormongering, etc.
A excellent book for no matter what Tudor fan!

Where do I begin with my adore for this book? Everything about it speaks to my heart, Cleves is that for sure one of my winner manners of all time, witty, hilarious, saracastic with shortcomings at the same time vulnerabilities that make her so utterly relatable. The queens completely draw from their historical counterparts at the same time they all gave me a brand new appreciation for their lives at the same time an last amount of malice for the method history has condemned them in ways they never deserved. These women are awesome. I wish to be BFFs with every single one of them. At the same time Henry was so well-written, very much how Id represent a modern teenage version of whod hed actually be. I wont spoil anything, but wow, did I loooooove how it ended. So flawless. Hilarious at the same time feminist at the same time everything I adore about women getting stuff done, this is that one story thats going to stick with me for years. Long LIVE THE Queens!

Sour book…cannot they say more than that!…it dragged on at the same time on at the same time on. Also didnt like the method the story was written..very abundance unnecessary juxtapositions which enhanced the boringness!
