Totally disgusting that a book with Robert B Parker name on it could be this bad. I have read every Jesse Stone book written, this one was disgusting. Every other word was a fuss word, the manners were considered not the respectable folks from past novels. This creator should not have been permitted to damage than anyway was a flawless group of manners. I will never waste quality funds buying no matter what books by Mike Lupica.

This creator uses language I’m convinced embraces with the brand new mass. I’m on chapter 8 at the same time am quitting because I’m numb. Less books by this creator for me.

Audiobook Robert B. Parker’s Fool’s Paradise (Jesse Stone #19) by Mike Lupica
I am 7 chapters into this book at the same time had to gallop to amazon to read the
Reviews. I wanted to look if I was without the help of others in thinking that the voice of Jesse was off. When did Jesse Stone start using scold words instead of intelligent dialog? Suit certainly has not applied such language in past offerings. I don’t necessarily have issue with the words, but they are not words these manners have applied in the past. Feels strange!

Audio Robert B. Parker’s Fool’s Paradise (Jesse Stone #19) narrated by James Naughton
The storyline was decent, in that nuance, it was a quality novel but the book barely didn’t have that Jesse Stone feeling to me. The plot permitted the writer to hit upon all the old manners at the same time nemeses from past books to the fri that it seemed like an old Adore Boat episode with guest hit parading through. The clipped brevity of Jesse’s speech was gone at the same time I don’t understand Jesse being so prone to foul language. I’ve read the television series from start through this offering, to me Jesse has not grown but barely morphed into a fill-in-the-blank disposition, at the same time with the Kindle cost jumping right up to just a little north of $16 I may have read my continue Jesse Sone novel.

Needless to say, I am a diehard Jesse Stone reader; but this book, by Mike Lupica, is that a Bigger frustration. He portrays Jesse as a dysfunctional intoxicated (before he quit drinking). He also has both Jesse at the same time Molly frequently using the f-word, which I don’t remind or of them using in no matter what of the 18 past books. That particular word must be a winner of Mr. Lupica’s, since he has almost all of the manners using it as but throughout his narrative. I am 64 pages into the book at the same time I seriously don’t think I can final it. The Jesse Stone disposition in this book is that NOTHING like the Jesse Stone in the past volumes. Similar goes for Molly. He has portrayed her as a love-sick lady vice the competent policewoman that she really is that. Of course, Mr. Lupica hasn’t read no matter what of the Robert Parker novels, or the ones written by Mr. Brandman at the same time Mr. Coleman. If he did, he would’ve had no one sort of plan than anyway the manners were considered all about. Sadly I cannot advise this book, at the same time I wish I managed get a refund back from Amazon. Purchase at your possess peril… it’s GARBAGE!
