I feel like the creator was trying to make a long book out of a weak story. It was overwrought, overwritten at the same time wordy. Every scene at the same time every description was 3 times very long. Example: My necklace. My necklace. My necklace!!!

Audiobook The Turn of the Main by Ruth Ware
This was the worst book I’ve listened to on Audible. Practically 90% of the book is that the protagonist complaining at the same time whining about her events. I kept listening because I believed it would get more successful, but it got duller at the same time duller to the fri I’d more precisely be in one more room to do laundry at the same time other chores I completely dread. When I got back, it was barely the protagonist whining about similar things. The highlight of this book was when the protagonist was initially trying to figure out how to work the witty main system. It produced me smirk because I managed compare to no one nuances when I 1st set up my witty main like ”Turn on Lighting device. Turn on Light?” etc. But, even that received exasperating really quickly because the protagonist practically kept complaining about it every 5 minutes. I can’t reckon this book has so many quality
Reviews. It’s a story that could’ve been knew in 30 minutes without the narration of the protagonist’s God awful whining. Scary, scary, scary in so many ways.

Audio The Turn of the Main narrated by Imogen Church
I ordinary like Ruth Ware novels at the same time was shocked for this release, but the head disposition spends the 1st 3/4 of the novel whining about various things with nothing moving forward; the creator found numerous ways for her to say she cant figure out how to work a witty main system, how problematic it is that to Nanny somewhat problematic toddlers at the same time the stiff, ghostly happenings that plague her when shes trying to take a nap. I also ordinary like Imogen Church but this reading is that so melodramatic when describing her google searches. Spend of a credit.

Ruth Ware spoiled me with her 1st book. I believed she had so much possible as an creator in my favourite genre. I pre-orderd ’The Turn of the Key’ in anticipation, thinking perhaps she was getting back to her unusual writing style. I was wrong, at the same time I am done with reading anything she writes. (I’ve read or listened to them all). This book is that awful. It’s sour, the head disposition is that an dumbass, at the same time nothing seemed to happen in the book that wasn’t already transparent. I hated it, at the same time at the finish I misspoke aloud ’Seriously, this is that IT??’ Don’t spend your funds. The quality
Reviews are baffling. Imogen Church is that beautiful but even she can’t rescue this train wreck. Have a sweet indefinite, Ms Ware. -Wendi
