Review #1 Masked Ball at Broxley Manor audiobook free This is that a quick novella set before the actions in Her Royal Spyness. For you meet a 19 year old Georgie nearing the finish of her season. It introduces several (but not many) of the manners in the television series during the titular public event. I quite enjoyed the audiobook. I’m a fan of Katherine Kellgren’s performances in the television series, at the same time this is that barely as decent as no matter what. Chagrin, the plot is that vague at the same time there’s not really a mystery here, the method that is that in the other novels in the television series. That is that one small plot writhe in other words very predictable if you’re knowledgeable with the television series. Since I have read the other novels, for me it was about learning more about the manners at the same time enjoying the setting than about the plot itself. In those areas, it does release a charming (if short) little narrative. The story is that paced but at the same time held back my curiosity throughout the entire narration. It answers a few questions about no one characters’ backstories, very, which is that main to no matter what prequel. As an additional fri, if anyone hasn’t read the television series still, I’d for sure not advise starting here. I don’t think it would confuse a brand new listener, but there’s not enough of a plot or mystery for a newcomer to actually decide if they’d like others of the television series, at the same time it a little spoils the ending to a later novel.

I think Rhys Bowen should do more short stories for Georgie! Performance from Katherine Kellgren is that famous as usual – I greedy managed we really have waited no matter what much less.

Review #4 Audio Masked Ball at Broxley Manor narrated by Katherine Kellgren Not worth the funds. The narration was fine-grained. Wallace Simpson at the same time the other American voices were considered so sonorous at the same time annoying as to be exaggerations of northern accents. If this had been my implementation to the television series, I wouldn’t have worried with more. Gratefully, I know more successful at the same time plan to enjoy them all. $5.00 for this? Getting my funds back. Very bad really. I was looking forward to this.
