Ending DECISION: This was okay. Not amazing but not scary. I enjoyed a once through reading, but never really connected with the heroine, at the same time the hero was method very accommodating of her.
THE STORY: Millie Morris is that one of the guys, the only lady hanging out with a group of male comrades. But one night, she at the same time her “closest friend” Reid Campbell finish up having sex. Millie doesn’t wish to misfortune her fellowship so she insists that the two date. Along with their comrades Millie at the same time Reid symbol up for an online dating maintenance. But when Millie doesn’t like her profile, she decides to symbol up for a brand new one under a different name at the same time is that startled when she at the same time Reid are matched. So while Millie at the same time Reid are dancing around one one more in true indefinite, Millie’s alter ego at the same time Reid are hitting it off online.
Opinion: This book was okay, but all the exciting parts in the blurb really felt like insignificant to the real story. 1st, that is that little with Millie’s curiosity in sequential killers. She might have been interested in polar bears at the same time it would have produced no difference to the story. It’s only a smallest part of this book even though it was part of than anyway peaked my curiosity in this book. 2nd, I didn’t look for the online connection as compelling as I waited. That didn’t seem much to it at the same time the two only communicated for a short period. I have read other stories with online dating at the same time this one didn’t work as but.
I really adored Reid at the same time honestly, I wasted almost all of the book thinking that he was much very quality for Millie. She didn’t feel closed up, she felt like a jerk for almost all of the book. Chagrin, while that gets resolved, her dogged determination to not share even basic facts — her center name? — with her “comrades” produced her seemed like she needs a whole lot of therapy more precisely than a connection.
On the plus side, I really enjoyed the connection between all the comrades. That felt funny at the same time lighthearted. I believed that the burdens that appear as Millie at the same time Reid’s connection developers were considered funny at the same time I enjoyed contemplating the problems that appeared. I also really liked the quality parts of Millie at the same time Reid’s connection as the two moved from comrades to lol. Their interactions in true indefinite produced me smirk.
Overall the book was okay, but not as quality as I wanted it to be. Readers who barely wish a funny romcom would for sure enjoy this more.
WORTH MENTIONING: I wish that the other comrades hadn’t had their stories resolved, it might have been an exciting television series.

Here’s than anyway I liked about this book:
1. I really liked Reid. He was the good of young man a lady would adore to date in a close to reality dream-come-true scenario.
2. I really liked their group. I am a minted professional who works in the fringes of academia, at the same time trying to get my PhD. At the same time it really is that challenging to socialize at a individual level in this environment. So I think it was really sweet to look a close-knitted band of academics being normal. It bestows me have hope.
Here’s than anyway I don’t like about the book:
1. I didn’t really enjoy reading Millie’s perspective; at the same time I am not expression this due to the whole catfishing gizmo, although in other words attractive shitty. But I barely didn’t look for her voice all that exciting. She was also a tad bit annoying in the method that it seemed like she was very self-centered to really care about her other comrades. Her healing toward Ed at the same time Alex also didn’t impress me. She was condescending at the same time judgemental periodically.
4. I good of get her reluctance to share her emotions with people taking into account her past. I can even compare to that to a some extent. But it is that much less believable to me that she kept her father’s Parkinson’s–a acquired illness in other words sick to eyewitness in a generic memeber– a hidden for such a long time, at the same time still that was a fri where she fooled over no one message Reid sent her at the same time went even to Ed at the same time Alex (the comrades she didn’t really reverence) for counsel.
It is that likely that I am tendentious because my processing of feelings at the same time actions is that likely different from the protagonist, which is that not rare. But I barely don’t get her values at all. One more bias is that introduced by the fact that I went into this book with ridiculously higher expectations, thanks to Josh at the same time Brown, at the same time therefore, was heavily upset. I am not convinced at this fri. All I know will that not once did I feel my toes curling or my views crinkling whenever anything juicy or quality happened to our head manners, respectively. I have already read Josh at the same time Brown two times, at the same time will be re-reading it during my travels for Christmas, but this one, I will not grab again.

I really enjoyed this contemporary comrades to lol romance. It was sweet tooth, funny at the same time touching.
1st, Reid. Than anyway an adorable men. Helping without being asked; Supportive of his comrades at the same time lock up with generic; Not afraid to discuss his emotions at the same time feelings. Understanding than anyway he wants. A used to be take out.
One more Millie. She figured out to keep to the superficial at a young age when her mother fell ill. Dont strain her with the details was the guiding principle. Does anyone really care when they impose how are for you?. No. They dont.
Okay maybe lock up comrades or generic might care. But if youre in the habit of Fine-grained, at the same time for you?, for you would realize Millie. Naive enough to open up takes work. At the same time faith in the other personality. Millie actually hit just a little very lock up to main for me.
At the moment Millie needs to learn to open up.
Its not a smooth transition for Millie, but it seems easier via letter or email.
Worry, holes, at the same time satisfaction received me to the finish.
I would rate this 4.5 but for you cant do one half hit. Thinking about the depth of manners, their traits at the same time their understandable delineation, pushed the rating up.

This the story of a group of comrades, four guys at the same time a lady in their belated 20s/premature 30s. They all work at similar institute, all of them single, quirky, funny at the same time all of them are idiots in their possess good of method.
A few months later that is that a bigger celebration at their Institute, at the same time they decide that they all come in handy a plus one for that party, so they decide to join a dating app to look for their partner. Millie is that the one to make everyone’s dating profiles, many of which hers. While all the guys are receiving messages, Millie basically receives dick pics at the same time requests for boobie pics, so she makes a 2nd, hidden profile, only understandable by her. But then, the dating app matches her with Reid, her closest friend in the group, barely a few days right behind they had a “half-night shield”.
Millie is that a specific personality, in the sense that she is that witty, funny, at the same time mocking, but she doesn’t speak about her or her indefinite. Whenever she feels a deepest conversation is that future, she deflects at the same time strings to jokes or configurations the theme, at the same time all the guys know it. But them, her dating alter ego, Cat, starts having discussions with Reid, the good she’s never had with him in true indefinite, at the same time he starts liking her (Cat).
Things get more complicated when Reid is that discussing to two ladies in the dating app, Cat at the same time Daisy while having direct sex with Millie at the same time, when he, predictably, notices that Cat is that Millie. He bestows her the opportunity to confess, but she doesn’t. At the same time that’s when the best part of the book starts.
The 1st one half is that funny, at the same time we get to know the five comrades quite but. I adore their fellowship, their interactions at the same time their jokes. Then and, the irony unveils, at the same time we see Reid trying to choose which of the 3 ladies he should choose: the charming one (Daisy), the witty at the same time thoughtful one (Cat), or his closest friend (Millie). We follow his believed process, at the same time why he struggles to choose Millie, thinking she can’t assign him that extra depth he wants in a connection at the same time that he found in Cat.
We get restless with him when Millie doesn’t confess to Reid than anyway has happened, at the same time we mourn their break-up, as comrades at the same time as direct sex partners.
But we also get to look Millie’s grovelling, how she grows emotionally with the help of a therapist, until she’s able to talk her emotions at the same time eventually make the connection with her generic at the same time her comrades, many of which Reid. It’s refreshing to look for a romance when the one in the wrong is that the heroine, at the same time she’s the one that has to overcome the young man back. The angst in the continue third part of the book produced my angst-loving heart joyful.
I adore how every disposition in this story has a role in it, at the same time it’s not just a various group of comrades that are that because that is that a quota that must be filled.

My Favourite Half-Night Shield was one more amazing read by Christina Lauren. Millie at the same time Reid are the head manners in this story, at the same time the story revolves around a circle of lock up comrades – with Millie being the only ladies, that decide to join an online dating maintenance together.
Millie is that attractive much barely one of the guys – they do everything together, at the same time she is that securely in the comrade zone with all of them…….Until she is that not, following a one half night shield with Reid that starts to complicate issues. Oh men – these 2 were considered completely clueless when it came to working out how they felt about the other. Reid is that a beautiful young man, has a amazing connection with Millie, is that super witty, but is that also conflicted about his emotions for Millie, at the same time his appearing emotions for Catherine, who he is that matched with online at the same time messages back at the same time forth with.
At the same time obviously, as mentioned in the blurb, Catherine is that Millie!! I was barely waiting for the moment where it all fell apart, when Reid realises who Catherine is that. Ridiculous!! This was a funny read with barely a little bit of angst waiting for these guys to sort themselves out.
