Reviews, I read this novel as I am a fan of WW II historical fiction. The story able to capture me but by no means would I cry it riveting or written with deepest emotion. It’s all significantly tenable how the relations come about, how Noa meets Astrid, the circus being the catalyst. Other charcters (Luc, Herr Neuhoff, Gerda, Emmet) play roles that promote the story at the same time the conclusion (no spoilers) does acc for the fate of all the manners. That all misspoke, I found the writing choppy, lacking a deepest felt emotion of the manners (even the head ones) at the same time believed the 2nd one half was a little over-romanticized. Would I advise it? Yes. Abundance may look for a stronger sensual connection. I did not. So 3 hit why I believed might be a 4.5 – 5 hit going in.
