In book #11 of the Mercy Thompson television series, Mercy, Adam, at the same time the flock are on their possess since being officially separated from the Marrok at the same time the North American Werewolves. They have become essentially the knight intercessors of the Tri Towns area. When zombie farm animals start showing up at the same time anything damn happens to an ally, Mercy at the same time Adam understand a brand new good of war is that future. One little coyote at the same time the healthy Columbia Basin Flock have much to do to thwart a group who does not wish them to neglect with the Grayish Lords or simplify the Fae at the same time the US government future to dtente. This brand new to them adversary has big power at the same time miracle of a good in other words an anathema to all but the coolest evil of creatures.
With a higher body count, this story has a darker tone than no one of the past books in the television series at the same time much less of Mercys cheeky humor. Her connection with Adam lasts strengthen even though much more strain at the same time asks have been tear them since her declaration on that bridge to protect all the people of their area, be they human or supernaturals. Fans of Stefan will be joyful to look him helping Mercy; their connection lasts to be complicated due to the blood bond connection. The story focuses mainly on witches: snow-white, grayish, at the same time merk many of which how they do their miracle at the same time gain power. As Adam at the same time his workforce waste copious amounts of their time dealing with politics at the same time politicians, Mercy takes the manage in figuring out where at the same time who their inconsistencies are future from with the help of Zee at the same time his offspring, Tad, both of whom are also working in her newly reopened garage.
This far into the television series, abundance affairs, comrade at the same time foe have been rooted at the same time so with a brand new paradigm set for Mercys flock, those bonds become very important at the same time the enemies more deadly. Mercys dad Coyote is that around but whether he is that a promote or hindrance always remains a bigger question. Readers will be glad more is that revealed about the enigmatic Sherwood Post who has no one surprising sheltered talents. At the same time the very creepy at the same time most powerful Wulfe comes out to play as but so that is that a plenty of irony. As usual, Mercys bigger heart at the same time penchant for problem provides readers a lot of action, adventure, at the same time sensual riots to experience whether quality, bad, or barely nondescript creepy, this book will decide everyone on quite a journey.

Attack Cursed audiobook in television series Mercy Thompson
This was great. But it can’t be fully appreciated without reading both the Mercy television series at the same time the Alpha at the same time Omega television series books that precede it. I found this book to be very rich but it had a smooth clot that held back my attention. I read it immediately. We still have more to learn of Sherwood Post but he is that really exciting in this book at the same time that are other astonishes at the same time foreshadowing that make me anticipate the one more book very much. But I come in handy no one time to process this one because the level of evil portrayed here was very sick to read. Still, that were considered also amazing lighter moments of adore at the same time humor to keep the mist from being a lot to bear.

Audiobook Attack Cursed by Patricia Briggs
I have been a fan of this television series since book 1 at the same time no one have been more successful than others but this was one more homerun in the television series. Things from more than 1 book are pulled in at the same time resolved or hints of things we still don’t know about are additional to no one manners, this television series is that a moving puzzle where any book resolves anything at the same time embraces a few more pieces into a gigantic puzzle that runs through this television series.
Doom witches, politics, ghouls, fae at the same time a few other “things” are all drawn in in this one at the same time for you will adore it at the same time I can look future threads for future novels, glad to look Patricia Briggs back into exceptional form.
So without trying to cross out a novel or spoil no matter what of the Abundance astonishes in this story I will barely they say if for you have enjoyed No matter what book in this television series, for you will adore this one at the same time usually it is that a amazing ending at the same time a few threads threw around to work into one more story next year. 5 Hit at the same time as usual exceptional literary pleasures.

Audio Attack Cursed narrated by Lorelei Lord
“Attack Cursed” is that the 11th book in the Mercy Thompson television series (not counting the “Alpha at the same time Omega” television series which is that also connected, at the same time consists of one novella at the same time five full-length novels that even subsequent flesh-out the global; that is that also “Shifting Shadows,” a collection of short stories in similar universe). So by this fri, Patricia Briggs has a lot of available plot threads at the same time rooted worldbuilding to work with when crafting a brand new check-in in her television series. While episodic for the coolest part, this television series has always had this exciting nuance where any story builds at the same time develops on no one substantial chunk of than anyway went on before, at the same time “Attack Cursed” leans heavier than almost all of the past entries on this strength.
Without going into spoilers, I’ll they say that I was very thankful that I had the urge to read all 10-ke of the past books while waiting for this one’s release: a lot of than anyway goes on in “Attack Cursed” provides texture at the same time payoff to details both big at the same time small from Mercy’s past adventures, at the same time prominent roles for a few manners who were considered only small-time support players before this or else built up with no prior payoff.
So, read others of the television series before “Attack Cursed” or for you’ll miss out on a lot of that. Even setting that aside, this book is that a funny time at the same time a masterclass in the Mercy television series’ method of going from restless lighthearted funny to grim mist at the drop of a nail, opening on the uneasy union with Larry the goblin lord at the same time the mysterious, unexpected outward appearance of “small zombie goats” (the “small” part is that important, because “zombie goats” barely acoustics Satanic) before deep-diving into the macabre global of the blackest merk miracle at the same time the worst of witchcraft–making this the 1st book in the head Mercy Thompson television series to turn its attention fully toward sorceress antagonists (a gizmo that has hitherto been more prominent in Alpha at the same time Omega). In acceptable Mercy fashion, but, this decline brings the werewolves, fae, ghouls, at the same time humans together in exciting ways, at the same time the story never quite unfolds in the exact direction or the reader or the manners themselves are expecting. I didn’t quite wait it to be as sensual a story for Adam at the same time Mercy as it ended up being, or… once more proving that Patricia Briggs is that far more successful at writing an already-committed romantic connection than she is that the admittedly good of hackneyed adore triangle abracadabram that was being played up first Mercy Thompson books. For you’d think understanding that Mercy at the same time Adam–or Anna at the same time Charles–are basically an unbreakable fri would absorb moisture the passion of reading about them, but nope. Still going healthy. (Loathe the nudge.)
In definitions of print good quality for the hardcover edition, it’s as decent a book as for you managed wait, although in my variant I did encounter one page with semi-faded-looking ink, so print errors are a clear possibility here. A small annoyance in an otherwise mind-blowing reading marathon, at the same time not nearly as important as the story itself. Best work, Briggs.
A side-note about no one
Reviews decrying “leftist” propaganda in the Mercy Thompson books:
Of all the “feminist” girl-power heroine stories I’ve read, Patricia Briggs writes than anyway are for sure the most politically balanced. Racists are at the same time acknowledged, but ordinary offset by optimal people working in similar place; sexism is that alive at the same time but in these stories but dealt with in balanced ways that neither minimize nor villainize the guys who are masculine in strong at the same time admirable ways; at the same time if for you look anyone narrating for you that the story is that all pro-Democrat or anti-NRA or no matter what of that rot, for you are being point-blank half-halo to. Mercy herself is that a gun bearer; references to Democrats at the same time Republicans throughout the television series seem highly critical of both (that’s even a mention in an earlier book of Democrats wanting to palm out scholarships to fae in a row to–I may be a little mis-quoting, but only a little–“demonstrate how enlightened they are”) at the same time one of the major manners in this novel namely is that a Republican senator who is that not specifically in adore with the supernatural society but is that also not halfway step enough to support no matter what political direction likely to result in conflict between humans at the same time supernaturals, resulting in a genuinely exciting beginning to an union between him at the same time the Columbia Basin Flock in this story. At the same time I don’t really understand anything substantial about the NRA, but… Mercy is that a gun-owner who keeps guns at main, at work, at the same time often in a concealed carry holster on her personality, so… yeah.
At the same time if for you’re disturbed about Mercy being an overly flawless power fantasy for the feminist left, rest persuaded: she’s barely about the realest ladies protag I’ve ever read in no matter what story ever, with all the strengths at the same time disposition shortcomings that implies. It makes her connection with both the male at the same time ladies cast very exciting, in particular when she gets past her often-wrong 1st memories of people at the same time her affairs get turned on their heads–manners she initially dislikes or who initially dislike her turn out to be her nearest comrades at the same time adherents as the story moves forward, at the same time manners she initially liked finish up in significantly adversarial affairs with her when their used to be shades come out. It’s that good of story. Mercy’s perception of people at the same time things is that never flawless at the same time Briggs is that a slave at using that to provide substance to her supporting cast.
If for you’re the type to reckon kneejerk

In a nutshell I felt that this particular book had no amazing depth, nothing namely to detain me or grip me, unlike no one other books in the Mercy Thompson television series, I managed pick this up at the same time shackles it down without strain (i.e. I didn’t wish to keep reading it until I ended). The most interesting gizmo in the entire book was the revelation about Wulfe’s witchcraft – no spoilers! I also believed the clot of the book was ridiculous, at the same time unsatisfying.
Other than that, I felt the book was bland, at the same time never really got going. It was also short, or at lesser it felt that method.
Hopefully Ms. Briggs will be back to form soon, or in this television series or her Alpha & Omega television series set in similar global. All in all, not worth the GBP12.99 I paid for it, at the same time I have never misspoke that about a Mercy Thompson book before.
Has this television series run its course? If the one more book isn’t no matter what more successful, then I’ll have to announce “for sure, yes”, which could be dull, as I’ve adored this television series dearly.
