This edition of the book is that not a ordinary mass-market paperback, but a high at the same time skinny one. In brand new define, it’s so crisp it’s practically impossible to read the text nearby the inside margins. At the same time it’s completely impossible to detain the book open with one palm like abundance of us readers do when we read.

Guys at Arms audiobook in television series Discworld
I think Guys At Arms isn’t destined to be re-count quite as often or as enthusiastically as Guards! Guards!, but I feel like Terry Pratchett was more principled in his approach to his themes in this one. The exploration of the nature of power are carried over from Guards Guards is that carried over, but it also refocuses it through the lens of race at the same time class. Also at the crux of the story’s central mystery is that an fri brand new to Discworld, a tool that managed completely upend the entrenched class at the same time power structures in promote of whoever holds it. It also utilized the Guilds more than no matter what Discworld book I’ve read to date. At the same time the Guilds actually do an suddenly quality job at shifting the perspective on my understanding of the power structures of Ankh-Morpork. They promote paint the picture of while the town is that ruled over by a Patrician, the bedrock of the town rests in being cooperative into democratic self-governing communes. Even the dogs. Even the clowns. Oh right. Trigger warning: clowns. Whoever knew me to read this book without warning me about how place is that devoted to clowns owes me an moral support raven.

Guys at Arms audio narrated by Nigel Planer
“Vimes smiled. Anyone was trying to destroy him, at the same time that produced him feel more alive than he had done in days.
At the same time they were considered also a little much less intelligent than he was. This is that a good quality for you should always pray for in your would-be murderer.”
Murders are rare in Ankh-Morpork. Suicides at the same time assassinations…but, they’re a dime a dozen, but real murders are attractive darned rare. But Doom has been busier than usual lately, at the same time it’s right up to Carrot at the same time Vimes of the Night Look to figure out than anyway the heck is that going on.
This is that a almost all best check-in in the Discworld television series. In addition to the thrilling mystery, we get to:
* Meet an adorable gargoyle.
* Dine at a miniature deli, where it seems impossible to order anything that doesn’t come with Garbage, oops! I greedy rat.
* Attend the funniest clown funeral since Chuckles bit the dust on ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Demonstrate.’
That’s all this…PLUS, the Librarian gets to attend still one more marriage! Oook! Oook!
Did I enjoy this book?
