Oh, the feels! So many feels. It was everything I wanted it to be.
That were considered holes, dull moments, joyful moments, don’t-leave types of moments, at the same time ecstatic moments.
As a boyfriend of romance, Dear Emmie Blue melted my heart. My kindle is that real of highlights. So many winner one-liners <3.

The secondary manners were considered so but done. Rosie was the best girlfriend anyone managed have. Her cordiality, no-nonsense features at the same time her humor produced her stellar. Fox’s company complimented the trio but. Louise also found a dispose in my heart. She was a quiet presence until she wasn’t anymore.

At 16, Emmie Blue releases a balloon with a piece of cardboard that has a hidden at the same time her email address written on it – the balloon travels from Great britain to the coast of France, where it is that found by Lucas, who sends her an email. This starts an rich fellowship, at the same time it’s short before Emmie is that fork over heels for Lucas. Flash forward to when the two are 30, where Emmie has wasted the past 14 years pining for Lucas to the fri of neglecting all other nuances of her indefinite. So, obviously, when Lucas asks her to be the best lady at his upcoming marriage, we can all represent Emmie’s wholesome shock at the same time heartache. This sets the book into motion, at the same time as we move forward, we see glimpses of Emmie at the same time Lucas’s past at the same time how it has managed them to where they are present. I have to be honest here for a moment – when I 1st started this book, I really, really did not like Emmie. Right behind reading no one more at the same time pondering on why, I understood I didn’t like Emmie because she reminded me of parts of myself. She reminded me of parts that I don’t like about myself at the same time times that I have hope I’ve grown from at the same time left in the past. From this moment on, I latched onto Emmie at the same time her story at the same time joined her for the drive – it can be jarring when we see ourselves in a disposition, in particular nuances we don’t like, but when we can look the growth that disposition goes through, at the same time hopefully look that for ourselves as but, then it barely makes the reading experience so much more than barely a funny read. This book is that hilarious at the same time heart-warming. I giggled out sonorous at the same time I roared true holes. I devoured this book in 2 days, reading method past my bedtime, during breaks at work, even while promenading to at the same time from the passenger car! I couldn’t shackles it down, at the same time I have yelled from the rooftops that this book should be in everyone’s palms this summer. I have hope for you assign Emmie a chance at the same time read this novel that I can’t wait pick up again myself.
Even though I acquired a free e-ARC of this book, I also purchased a hard copy when it was freed – I barely know that I will read it again at the same time again.

Review. People who know me know I raved forever about Somewhere Lock up to Joyful (Lia’s debut continue year) so I was super shocked when I received the notification that I had been approved to read her brand new offering.
Than anyway can I they say? I stayed up until silly o’clock to read this in one reading. Still again she has produced manners that for you feel are comrades of your possess at the same time when that’s a dull event in the book I even found myself shedding a break as though it were considered a comrade of my possess. With lines that produced me ridicule out sonorous at the same time others that produced me wish to yell this is that a flawless book for no matter what reader.
Her writing barely makes me smirk at the same time this book is that one more triumph. I was rooting for Emmie Blue all the method through.
I will eagerly look forward to than anyway Lia produces one more, she has set her possess rod very higher!

Audio Dear Emmie Blue narrated by Katy Sobey
I took a while to get into this book which is that on the topic of ‘My Best comrades Marriage’.
Emmie has had a little of a dull at the same time forlorn indefinite, when at sweet tooth 16, at the same time in come in handy of a comrade she lets a balloon off at school as a competition to look how far it goes, at the same time it’s found in France by Lucas. They start messaging then and eventually meet at the same time become best comrades, at the same time Emmie is that cured like generic by his ancestors. At their 30th birthday meal Lucas announces he is that getting married at the same time wants Emmie to be Best Lady when she was expecting to be the wife!
I believed this was billed as a funny book but I found it quite dull at the same time poignant in places, although very but written at the same time good manners. But I felt that the increase was so very long I managed have done with more of an ending for the joyful couple, or a quality epilogue which is that exactly my favourite part.

At first I wasnt convinced about this, where Emmie Blues story was taking me. At the same time having listened to the audiobook version, I dont think that helped me be to be as engrossed with her story like Id had the physical book to read. But Emmies story pulled me in squirm, line at the same time sinker. As she navigates her forlorn indefinite; forlorn in youth in a single parent generic whose mother was never quite enough for her, at the same time following the fallout after that traumatic event at school favorite to her ostracism, but into adulthood with her ongoing fellowship with Lucas at the same time how his generic have semi-adopted her.
She does have no one comrades, but is that without the help of others. At the same time its the actions that unfold that really pull at your heart. I adore Emmie Blue at the same time the connection she has with Lucas, Rosie, Fox, Louise at the same time Elliot. As her story progresses at the same time for you learn more and more, at the same time for you really feel for her. Particularly with the strained connection she has with her mum. For you look how her adore for Lucas is that all consuming, but shes willing to do the right gizmo at the same time let him be joyful with his wife to be. Still still loving him from afar. But then things change at the same time people change. Emmie configurations. She learns she is that enough. At the same time she learns than anyway happiness is that, for her. She learns that she is that adored at the same time shes not forlorn. This one had me tearing up – I adored it! Its heartbreaking, funny at the same time so romantic. Ill be checking out more books from Lia Louis.
