3.5/ 5 hit For you They say It 1st is that my 6th book by this creator. This book is that a Young Adult contemporary book. This was a quick YA read. But from the embrace I was expecting a sweet tooth, attractive romantic YA adore story. To me this book was not that at all. It was more YA close to reality fiction with no one romance. The book deals with a lot of hard subjects (like divorce, suicide, alcoholism, socioeconomic status…). So it was more serious than I was expecting. The book has alternating 3rd personality POVs: Meg at the same time Colby (both 18 years old). Meg lives in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Colby lives in Ohio. Since the two teens live in different countries I was a little confused as to how they would even meet or have no matter what type of connection. I guess in other words why the embrace indicates them on their cellphones. Meg is that a university senior who likes politics at the same time who is that obsessed with getting people to vote (she works at a voter registration cry center). She is that planning to move to institute the next year with her closest friend. Colby is that much more rough around the edges. He lives in a much impoverished districts. He does not have a lot of funds. But works full-time. It took me a while to like or narrator. They were considered both fine-grained. But the 3rd personality POVs produced me feel a little detached from them both. For readers expecting a fairy-tale story where they meet at the same time fall in love … but this isn’t that at all. They wage war at the same time they any have a lot of issues to deal with at main. I think that a lot of teens will manage to compare to so many of the issues talked in this book. At the same time in other words awesome. This book is that very problematic for me to rate. That were considered parts that were considered attractive at the same time romantic. But this book deals with such problematic themes. It was barely really not than anyway I was expecting at all.
