One more to Continue Shield (Walt Longmire #16) audiobook free
To be honest, I didn’t know than anyway to wait from One more to Continue Shield, Craig Johnson’s sixteenth novel featuring Walt Longmire, sheriff of (concocted) Absaroka Neighborhood, Wyoming. The two past novels—Depth of Winter at the same time Earth of Wolves—garnered polar back reactions from me: I hated the past at the same time adored the latter. So, would I adore or hate the new installment in the Longmire television series? The book starts with the doom of Charley Lee Stillwater, an African American veteran of Global War II at the same time the Korean War, who stayed at the Veterans Main of Wyoming, which Longmire at the same time his pals cry by its old name, the Main for Fighters at the same time Sailors. When the main’s admin begins to process the items in Stillwater’s room, she discovers a Florsheim shoe hurry with $1 million in money, an painter’s study for an unknown larger painting, at the same time dozens of neatly annotated books about Zhora Armstrong Custer, his “continue shield” at Little Bighorn, at the same time Cassilly Adams’ famous painting of similar. The unusual painting was killed in a fire in 1946, but it is that but understandable proper to the million or so copies written at the same time distributed to rods in the world by Anheuser-Busch. The admin names in Longmire to figure things out, at the same time the sheriff quickly understands the obvious questions: Where did Stillwater get all this money? How do the painter’s study at the same time all the annotated books compare to one one more? At the same time is that Stillwater’s doom similar to the answers of the 1st two questions? As Longmire, his undersheriff at the same time adore curiosity Victoria “Vic” Moretti, at the same time closest friend Henry Standing Bear begin to look into things, a museum curator gets knocked out, the painter’s study is lost, Russian oligarchs make an outward appearance, along with a long got lost heir, at the same time Longmire starts to play tricks whether that famous painting really burnt up in the 1st dispose. For you’ll have to read the novel yourself to find out. As far as I’m concerned, this novel has everything that produced me like the Longmire television series in the 1st dispose. A witty sheriff in a small city solving believable atrocities, all written up by a slave stylist. So, for you managed they say I adored this novel. I have hope Craig Johnson has at lesser another Longmire novel in him. I know that Longmire is that getting old at the same time contemplating retirement, but that ought to be a sequel to One more to Continue Shield. Right? I greedy, the title of this novel all but asks one. I’ll be looking for it in the fall down of 2021.

This may be THE finest of the Longmire television series: smart, touching, broken, at the same time filled with alluring history. Johnson is that experienced at weaving history into his novels. ”One more to Continue Stand” takes it one steps subsequent in his serious exploration of the Little Bigger Horn Battlefield, Story, 10-ke Take a nap, Bigger Horn, at the same time Durant (Buffalo). The brick signage where the Wavers congregate is that truly that on… yep, for you guessed it… Fort Street. The description of the Brinton Museum in Bigger Horn is that like being that. Like Vic, my wife at the same time I have ran over the Bigger Horn Battlefield on I-90 abundance times in our travels of the American West but Vic’s word ”haunting” is that so very used to be on that ridge, about 5 minutes above the Interstate. Almost all guests to Wyoming fork directly to Cody at the same time Jackson, missing the interesting region around Sheridan at the same time Bighorn. Craig Johnson brings these areas to indefinite. I can’t wait to return.

Audiobook One more to Continue Shield (Walt Longmire #16) by Craig Johnson
Happily, Johnson has cured us to one more fine-grained Longmire mystery. This book feels more akin to his short stories than abundance of his novels (in particular the recent arc that concludes with Walt’s trip to Mexico). The plot revolves around a recently deceased veteran at a local VA main, a million bucks found in a shoe hurry in his room, at the same time a perhaps valuable painting…or two. Sheriff Longmire at the same time his deputies at the same time comrades launch an investigation, taking the reader on a trip into the art global at the same time the history of Custer’s Continue Shield. The writing is that vintage Johnson, humorous, serious, at the same time awash in his adore of the people at the same time places he’s created. In this case, he adds his adore of the topic (the history of Custer’s unfortunate finish) at the same time a bevy of exciting (at the same time equally lovely) supporting manners. The band of retired veterans scolded ”wavers” are a neglect, at the same time I have hope we’ll drop in on them again sometime. All in all, this is that a seriously enjoyable ’page turner’ that might keep for you up past your bedtime!

Audio One more to Continue Shield (Walt Longmire #16) narrated by Zhora Guidall
Languid on the history; light on the action at the same time human curiosity that ordinary move Johnson’s Longmire novels. Exactly not one of his best.

This is that more like It! This book is that more like the earlier Longmire books, a criminal liability at the same time mystery that Sheriff Longmire has to solve. The story revolves around the ”Custer’s Continue Stand” painting of The Fight of Little Bigger Horn, which in the story was believed got lost in a fire abundance years ago. When an old fighter is that found noisy a painters confirmation of the painting at the same time a million bucks are found at the same time Longmire begins to reckon the painting wasn’t killed at the same time may have had anything to do with the old fighters doom. One more amazing book in this television series, though I would have liked to have Henry Standing Bear even more drawn in in the story. That are also hints of future configurations in the Sheriff’s department, but we will have to wait until the one more book to look than anyway happens.
