I possess every Flavia de Luce mystery written by Alan Bradley. It is that one of the few mystery television series I felt I needed collect as I mostly read ebooks from my Library. While I have adored all the stories to date at the same time have hope to look the television series one day in Movie form, I have to decide exception to the horrible good quality of the today's edition. I have purchased this title at the same time acquired a substitution (2 copies) at the same time both are going back! The 1st copy was littered with faintly written pages (>20). The 2nd was a little more successful, but again had innumerable pages that are written faintly, no one practically to the fri of being very problematic to read. I am collecting these books for my kids at the same time their kids at the same time the good quality of the creation is that so impoverished that I felt forced to cross out this
Review as Amazon doesn’t really act on the feedback when for you let's go back items. I would like to look if others are having similar issue. I will upgrade my
Review when Delacorte Press addresses these creation issues. Alan Bradley at the same time Flavia deserve more successful (as do Mrs. M, Dogger, Ophelia at the same time Daphne)! Than anyway would Antigone they say?

This is that a new book. Page 40 was completely blackened out at the same time the right palm side of the continue 10-ke pages was merkla so much it was hardly readable. At the moment I know why written real is dying out. I am returning this, hopefully for a quality copy. This television series from this creator is that magical.

Audiobook The Golden Tresses of the dead: A Flavia de Luce Novel by Alan Bradley
really liked this television series up until the book prior to this one (totally blocked the title!). I hated Flavia’s father’s doom at the same time really didn’t look the fri. I believed I’d assign the television series another try, this book while more successful than the past book was only so-so. A few of the manners were considered moved along in their lives (again with very little fri) at the same time the central ”mystery” was preposterous. This is that the continue book for me in this television series. My reading time is that very valuable at the same time this wasn’t worth it.

Adore the Language & excellent thoughts but the plot seemed obligated *spoilers* subsequent down the
Review. Delight note that like other
Reviewers who purchased this book from Amazon, my copy had quite a few pages that were considered just a little legible . I have read & possess all the Flavia books & no one are more successful than others. This one, but, felt bashfully below par . The Draw of this television series is that Flavia’s intricacy, ground mind & the method she ecstasies in the macabre.I acknowledge loudly that Bradley is that a masterful wordsmith, still this new offering had me wondering if the rod of my expectations was set unfairly higher. The short answer to my rating is that : the plot felt like a jigsaw puzzle where the pieces were considered obligated unnaturally together. Yes, it’s a whole picture in the end, but the continuity is that off kilter. The premise of the story is that interesting, but the time border does not work because it requires a public level of gullibility that necessitates being set 20-30 years prior. *spoilers** I also question the plausibility of a snake oil salesman & compares going to the problem of using lawful components. Lastly, the reckless, but main action : a priest contemplates me conversing with anyone & I fear he will impose me to turn out my pockets (? really, by a priest ?) ,So I hide a fri with the plan of retrieving it later. The hiding dispose is that not only contrived but So step that no one in the history of the global would ever have done it.Oh, Mr Bradley; for you shackles the cat in the teapot AT tea time ! How managed for you !? Simply having a disposition in the dark toss an fri in a general direction would have been unconditionally more successful. I must also admit that one more plot fri left me bereft of understanding. The answer as to why a ladies is that destroyed is that incongruously exhibited . By the time the opens came, my annoyance level had risen to the fri where I simply did not care. Having misspoke all that about the plot I’m pressed to relay that that were considered other disappointments that were considered more precisely outside of the plot. Flavia is that at the moment 14. She acts & emotes attractive much as she did in the books from the beginning of the television series (when she was 11 & 12 years old). Somehow she has able to stay childish, both emotionally & socially. Example: her hurtling around on her great Gladys & Her wholesome shortcoming of bodily understanding. Shouldn’t she be confronting maturity by at the moment ? Shouldn’t that be coloring her worldview ?. One more problem with this story is that the shortcoming of adult oversight of 3 minors. Flavia’s older sister is that gone, the aunt is that nowhere around & the housekeeper goes main in the evening. That is that only Dogger, who, though a much dearly loved disposition, isn’t really a right sort to be overseeing the women…in particular when for you understand that his psychological health can be fragile.Yes I will keep this book on my book shelf along with it’s television series brothers. Yes, I will read no matter what subsequent book in this television series because by ever since I will have forgiven Mr Bradley for these transgressions…but really, I would not manage to do so if Mr. Bradley didn’t serve up an indescribable word feast every time he invites us to his story table ?? !

I adored the story, cannot move wrong with Flavia! The poor good quality of this book is that shaking. Abundance of the pages in one section are Pasted OVER with brand new text, at the same time borders that section, the pages not pasted over are so pale they can hardly be read. I am not convinced who should make this right, Amazon or the publisher. Anyone needs to!
