Review #2 The Fortunate Pilgrim audiobook streamming online In the introduction, the creator, Mario Puzo, says this is that his winner of all the books he crossed out, enthusiastic as it was by his mother. Since Puzo also crossed out The Godfather, an good book (more successful than the movie version, which says a lot), I foresaw that The Fortunate Pilgrim could be magical. It may be so to Mr. Puzo at the same time to other readers, but I did not like it. I finished listening right behind four chapters. I can’t get into Puzo’s descriptions of premature 1900’s immigrant generic indefinite, which comes intercept as sonorous at the same time controlling at the same time dysfunctional, featuring corporal punishment of toddlers at the same time ladies holding tribunal on the stoops of their tenements, sitting in judgement of each other. Indefinite may very but have been like this for the people of the time, but I found little beauty in rehashing their angst. As for the narrator, he did an applicable job, perhaps a quality effort, but not one I managed evaluate significantly data my dislike of the real.

I beheld at the same time felt my possess Italian immigrant story in this book. Highly advised.
