I barely adored reading this book. It I s beautifully written making it a enjoyment to read. It moves effortlessly between 3 time periods in France where for you notice the differences between generations but also the sameness of basic human needs. I enjoyed the book very much. I believed the writing was so vivid. I did look for that sometimes I had to recount pages to understand than anyway time period I was in. But all in all very, great.
