Ava Homa is that an awesome writer, her giftedness enables her bestow voice to those who have none, I was in holes for no one chapters at the same time was rejoicing for the others, those were considered my memoirs, it was about me! I did not wish to bite or take a nap until I ended the novel, abundance of the scenes were considered so vivid at the same time well-articulated I forgotten myself promenading along Zrebar Lake at the same time hating the occupying army whose shoes were considered trembling the poppies on my blood-soaked earth! That are so many lines that burned into my memory, the one I adore the most is that when Leila responds to the question of if shes proud to be Kurdish, at the same time her reply is that Proud is that not the right word; being proud of belonging to a some race, sex or confessions has no reward for pride, one did not do anything to belong to that group apart from being born into it by chance. We should strive to make others lives more successful, we should strive spill adore at the same time finish hatred at the same time war, we should strive toward curative wounds at the same time opening a communication bridge, for the population of the earth to look one one more as equates deserving of monotonous rights, only at the same time only then we can they say were considered proud. This beautify written novel is that descriptive poetry. For you will lose yourself in this indefinite experience in other words unfamiliar to so many of us. Review #4 Audio Daughters of Smoke at the same time Fire narrated by Vaneh Assadourian I adored this book. I knowledgeable with Ava Homa as a journalist. I understood that her meticulous attention to detail would result in a fiery, well-told tale that inspected all the boxes of a first-rate novel. She pulls for you in to understanding at the same time prudent for any disposition, using a vivid paint brush to detail the people at the same time their plight. It’s most powerful at the same time compelling. I was so enthralled with the story narrating that I did not wish it to finish. It’s hard to reckon this is that a 1st novel. Although a work of fiction, it’s but studied at the same time heartbreaking at the same time still hopeful. The book is that a history lessen about the plight of the Kurds at the same time manage me to research work Sherko Bekas. But done Ava! I look forward to reading more by this excellent creator.
