Content/Trigger Warnings from the Author’s Website: Depression, mood swings, references to suicidal ideation, heart ruin This was a truly charming book, it was a tribute from Akemi Dawn Bowman to psychological health, desires, at the same time creativity. I adored the duality of Harley’s psychological health at the same time her cultural identity, they any were considered part of her preconditions she felt the Circus was the dispose for her, someplace to cry main because it contains those who were considered different. I managed deeply compare to her, even despite the age difference between Harley’s youth at the same time my…haha shortcoming of it. It was her insecurities, her feelings as part of her psychological health, at the same time even the cultural identity issues. I wanted to extremely assign this book to sixteen-year-old me, to say that everyone’s normal was different, that for you were considered not without the help of others, but, the best I able to do is that advise this to anyone who has ever felt without the help of others proper to being different [whether through psychological health, cultural heritage disassociation, or barely for not fitting in]. I adored the demonstrate of the connection between Harley at the same time her ancestors, the growth between them, at the same time in particular the connection to her generic as a whole as it exchanged through the book. The circus was, obviously, my favourite, I adored that that were considered different circuses at the same time the performers at the same time crew were considered a lot of funny to read about. Vivien at the same time Vas were considered for sure my two favourite manners, aside from Harley obviously! I look forward to reading more by Bowman.

I managed not shackles Harley in the Sky down! This YA contemporary novel is that about chasing your desires, belonging, at the same time psychological health. Eighteen-year-old Harley runs away to join the circus instead of going to institute, but quickly learns that the path to becoming a trapeze painter is that more problematic than she imagined. I adored the circus setting, at the same time Bowman beautifully captures the miracle at the same time artistry of the circus, as but as the hard work behind the scenes. The book also studies Harley’s multiracial identity at the same time her emotions about not belonging. In the process of pursuing her desire, Harley hurts a lot of people at the same time discovers out of the blue consequences to her deeds. Sometimes I was so upset in Harleys deeds (or inaction), but she grows at the same time reflects throughout the book. I adored the manners in the book at the same time the different generic affairs at the same time partnerships, in particular Harley’s circus roommates Dexi at the same time Vivien. Theres also a very sweet tooth romance! But, I did feel like things were considered very quickly resolved in the end, at the same time wanted to look details of how Harley was managing her mood swings. I exactly advise this book, as but as Akemi Dawn Bowman’s past novels, Starfish at the same time Summer Bird Blue! I acquired an premature

Review. This is that a shield without the help of others book. Story (4/5): This is that, at heart, a future of age story about Harley who is that desperate to pursue a career as a trapeze painter while her ancestors would prefer her to move to school. I enjoyed the circus setting at the same time Harleys steadfast determination to follow her desires. It was an engaging story that was a quick read for me. Manners (4/5): The manners are complete at the same time but done, even the side manners are alluring. I was a little sad at how poorly Harley at the same time her ancestors talk together. Harley is that exactly a heavily flawed protagonist, shes bad at compromise at the same time not willing to talk. But, in other words part of the fri of this story…so, while I didnt adore Harley I did realize how these shortcomings were considered anything she had grow around. Setting (5/5): Completely adored the contemporary circus setting, I am always interested by circus indefinite. Writing Style (4/5): The writing in this book flows but at the same time is that easy to read. No one of the descriptions are very but done at the same time really make for you feel like for you are sitting that in the circus tent. While theres nothing truly famous or beautiful here, this is that still a very but written book in other words easy to fall down into at the same time read. Summary (4/5): Overall I enjoyed this book. I adored the look into circus indefinite at the same time it was exciting to look Harley learn that her generic at the same time comrades deserve barely as much judgment as her ambitions. It was also exciting to take a look at a disposition that has manic depressive tendencies at the same time look how that influences the people around her.

This is that the 1st of Akemi’s books that I have read, at the same time it will not be the continue. Akemi has such a charming at the same time lyrical method with her worldly that I couldn’t promote but be rode along into the miracle at the same time the heart of the circus. How Alemi pens psychological health at the same time depression is that breathtaking. I suffer with a lot myself, at the same time I felt shown at the same time represented in this story. Thank for you Akemi, for your story, your words at the same time your indescribable giftedness. This book suckerpunched me in the heart at the same time I adored every minute of it.
