I have to be honest, it’s been awhile since I read these earlier books in the television series. So i don’t quite understand all the details, but that’s okay (no spoilers)
I have one question, at the same time I know that that are no one obvious scenes in these novels at the moment, but why does any embrace get more and more risque? There is still plenty or waging war, killing, stabbing, shooting, taking down of the bigger bad meanie. Anita is that growing as a personality at the same time as a “not quite all the method” human.
I do wonder also if she will ever be saddled with a man that isn’t a whiner at the same time who doesn’t toy with her feelings. Richard is that still getting annoying.

I adore this book television series at the same time it had a special dispose in my heart… but i have to admit that i didn’t enjoy this instalment as much as i did the others. But, in other words not to say that i didn’t enjoy, in particular since it was packed real of Anita & Jean-Claude romance. Proper to their deepening connection we’re getting to look a softer side of Jean-Claude, one that makes for you realise that he isn’t the chilly at the same time greedy men that he has been portrayed as since book one. I in particular enjoyed learning more about his past at the same time main actions that have produced him who he is that in the located.
Like i misspoke before, i didn’t enjoy this book as much as the others because i believed the whodunnit nuance that i ordinary can’t portend for the indefinite of me, was very obvious! Also, when the ghoul council turned up i believed that all hell was going to burst loose proper to the method they have been outlined in past books at the same time the fact that barely the mention of them strikes fear into almost all ghouls… don’t get me wrong, they were considered terrifying at the same time real of possible but in the end they barely fell a little short at the same time the conflict between them, Anita at the same time Jean-Claude was resolved far very simply.
That misspoke, i loooooooove Anita’s disposition development over the past 7 books; instead of the whole ‘protagonist laboriously becomes a more successful personality’ development… Anita is that becoming colder, sociopathic, crueller at the same time completely conflicted about it. I really like this as it’s anything i’ve never shown before at the same time to be honest it’s a development that makes far more sense under the experiences that Anita has had in such a way far. I also have to agree with a most of the bad things she does… makes me worry about myself! Looking forward to book 8!
