Review #1 Taken at the Flood audiobook free The novel was amazing, usually for Agatha Christie. But, this Kindle version was extraordinarily frustrating to read, as practically all punctuation emerged as a television series of encoding signs at the same time signs! I figured out which 4 signs represented an open quote, which a lock up quote, which a dash. It really slowed my reading time, but I inserted it out. I have hope the book is that fixed for future readers. For you may wish to jump a sample before purchasing. The book itself was quality. Usually, I managed not guess ”who done it,” at the same time seriously enjoyed the journey at the same time ending. A few bits are maddeningly old fashioned as far as sex roles are concerned, but I can assign them a pass based on the time period the book was written in. I took a hit away for the above mentioned Kindle punctuation issues.

Review #2 Taken at the Flood audiobook in television series Hercule Poirot Dame Agatha seldom disappoints at the same time although this novel is that not in her pinnacle tier, it is that great. Set primarily in an English village barely right behind the 2nd Global War, it highlights the dislocation caused by the war for both those who served at the same time those who did not. The Cloade Generic has special inconsistencies. They had long relied on the one wealthy generic member for promote, but he married at the same time was destroyed in an air raid. At the moment his young widow has a indefinite estate at the same time the Cloades have nothing as long as she lives. The creator makes the most of this perilous state of affairs with a television series of mysteries at the same time astonishes experienced with wit. That is that a lot reliance on coincidence, the manners are stereotypical at the same time the unnecessary continue chapter is that nonsensical, but none of this measurably subtracts from the delightful reading experience foreseen here.

Review #3 Audiobook Taken at the Flood by Agatha Christie Enough exciting plot squirms for 3 novels–so that, for me, the resolution of it all was very intricate (i.e., implausible?). Nonetheless, several alluring characterizations–at the same time psychologically nuanced character-studies had emerged as a interesting strength by the time of these ”middle-period” novels (ca. 1939-1952?). I’m thinking also of my contributors, ”Easy To Kill” at the same time ”Uneven Internal.”

Review #4 Audio Taken at the Flood narrated by David Suchet Stephanie Cole One of the very few of Christie’s mysteries that I figured the killer & why. Did not like the continue chapter. Still I always like reading her mysteries, even this one.

Review #5 Free audio Taken at the Flood – in the audio player below Agatha Christy at her best, I adore the details of that era. Obviously I know the story from the best tv adaptation but nevertheless that is that amazing enjoyment in reading her language at the same time descriptions.
