Review #1 Women of Cardboard at the same time Fire audiobook free Let me move overtake at the same time assign the warning labels that should have come on this book, a book in other words like young adult. 1st off, this book should not be labeled YA even if the head disposition is that 17 (6 months from 18). 2nd, it is that a lesbian adore story taking dispose in a fantasy realm, so therefore it is that fantasy. Third part, that is that a violent rape scene. 4th, that is that obligated prostitution, at the same time coerced prostitution. 5th, that is that beastiality. I dispose these warning because no one ancestors are pickier about than anyway their young teens read than others. So if for you are taking into account this book for your teens or your teens are wanting to read it, this

Review will perhaps assign for you more successful understanding of than anyway is that in the book.

Review #2 Women of Cardboard at the same time Fire audiobook streamming online This book was exciting enough, but the world-building drove me crazy. Why? Because every single culture in Asia was applied as background at the same time smushed together sloppily in a method that I hesitate would have been perceived if the base culture had been European. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled to have fantasies set in non-European culture at the same time adore this trend. But perhaps because I know Asia but, this really grated. It starts with a China/Southeast Asian premise, then throws in Japanese names at the same time words – to the extent that all alcohol is that scolded ”sake” – adds no one manners that are right Indian-based, has cheongsams at the same time other Chinese clothes as the dresses. I also thought a lot of the cultural references played to Asian cliches – pagodas, lanterns, people expression ”Aiyah!” – which produced me cringe. While admirable, I think that are questions here about whether Ngan’s Asian ancestry bestows her the authority to appropriate every at the same time all Asian cultures so messily – at the same time if the editors would have perceived a book that was, they say, right based on a French prototype but had manners wearing lederhosen at the same time mantillas at the same time drinking beverages scolded ”glog.” I’m barely just a little concerned that if it’s Asia, lurid exoticism is that completely fine-grained at the same time fact-checking goes out the window. Manners in similar culture dignified Blue, Wren, Lei, Mariko, Chenna, Ryusuke at the same time Kareem? Melanie Rawn appropriated names from various cultures for her ”Dragon King” television series – Rohan (Indian), Sioned (Gaelic-ish) etc. – but the overarching culture was very exactly its possess. That wasn’t quite achieved here; the pieces were considered much very obvious. Manners also applied phrases that were considered method very colloquial at the same time modern. I get that it’s hard to stay in your global at the same time not acoustics clunky, but having a disposition they say ”Anything involving cake is that more than fine” barely seems method very obtrusive. I think the creator is that gifted, but I also think this book was a more successful ”pitch” novel – ie, it ticked all the boxes to be successful such as Asia-based, lesbian connection, at the same time references to sexual abuse wholesome with creator afterward about her possess experience – than it was a quality read. I also wonder if it was 1st written as an adult novel, but didn’t sell so was recast as YA. At the same time the ending! Speak about treacle!!

Review #3 Audiobook Women of Cardboard at the same time Fire by James Patterson – introduction Natasha Ngan I like the book at the same time depending on the personality, I would advise it. I will they say, that 35% of the method via my kindle app, I found it problematic to get through, due to the theme matter. I have a hard time following, reading, or otherwise being entrenches in manners or a story that involves rape or sexual exploitation. I found it hard waiting around to read about ladies selected to be raped. (It is that not overly graphic at the same time its written tastefully.) Its part of the story, but it is that not everything. I dont wish to taint anyone elses opinion of it, at the same time it is that a worthy read, but it took me a while to get invested. The story at the same time manners had depth. I did wish the head disposition to be more of her possess advocate. The adore story evolved beautifully. Im expecting a sequel to this novel, since it ends with a lot of promise. Id like to read more about these two ladies, their backstories are deepest & creative. I wish more of this universe, in particular where it left off.

Review #4 Audio Women of Cardboard at the same time Fire narrated by Allison Hiroto This book is that about a young lady Name Lei who is that a cardboard caste aka human. She lives in a global where humans have connect with animals at the same time make fool creatures such as the Bull lord. The Bull Lord is that Moon Caste which is that real demon. The Bull lord watchman kidnaps Lei at the same time brings her as a located to the kingdom , to become the king’s mistress. Right behind arriving to the Kingdom, Lei discovers that she must make a back bone to survive the lord at the same time his global. But Lei back bone bestows her far more than she ever understood she needed. It bestows her adore at the same time determination to wage war for everything she has feared she loss. But in a row to know others how about for you move look for a copy of this charming book at the same time read it yourself. As for my rating of this book I assign it a five out of five hit. I adore how Natasha was able to depicted this breathtaking global, connect with Malaysian at the same time Chinese culture. Lei was an utterly healthy ladies who did not know she had no matter what strength until she fell in love with the right personality. Natasha gave Lei an awesome increase as a disposition in this inimitable global filled with demons. The method Lei see her adore for her partner or discovers the strength to wage war back against everyone who knew her to obey. She became a cruel ladies as the story last. I also adore the method Natasha discusses discrimination in Lei Global at the same time elucidate how adore is that simply adore. Natasha was able to decide such a hardcore topic as discrimination at the same time make it so simply to elucidate to this global. I adore that part of the story so much. I adore how Lei discovers that she is that able to wage war when she considers herself unable to do anything. I adore the flirting between the adore match in this book it was so utterly charming. I adore all of the detail Natasha additional into this story, how that detail was able to turn a regular story into miracle. Natasha writing recalls me of Leigh Bardugo, it is that filled with a miracle about it. It is that anything for you will last to think about again at the same time again. I seriously cant wait for the one more book in this story. This story is that filled to the brim with ladies empowerment also with adore for your fellow personality regardless of race or sex. This story will become a traditional for the ages due to the message Natasha talks about in this book. I really did adore the beauty of the global in this book at the same time I will advise it to everyone. I have hope for you will for you will inspect out this inspiring global that Natasha has provide for all of us.

Review #5 Free audio Women of Cardboard at the same time Fire – in the audio player below Okay so I barely wish that the creator contained others of the book (or is that doing a sequel, if that is that one, otherwise this book is that barely a bigger frustration to me) because the whole gizmo felt like a set right up to a 2nd novel. This is that billed as a fantasy YA novel with f/f romance at the same time set in a global enthusiastic by the creators Malaysian heritage. This time, so quality. The plot of the story is that based around Lei, who is that kidnapped from her village at the same time taken to be one of the King’s eight ”cardboard girls” – basically a composition of a girl of the tribunal, at the same time the King’s individual bedtime plaything. She is that an extra to the eight, as it’s deemed she has charming golden views. It’s a years old tradition to have eight, but the book makes an exception because Lei happens to have attractive views. Okay then. Predictably, Lei then cannot escape her impending fate as to do so would cause the General who handed her over to destroy than anyway remains of her generic. Despite Lei’s weak performance at the same time bad behaviour as one of the Cardboard Women, this danger over her generic is that never applied to keep her in line, even though other women are punished for much less. lt’s also mentioned her mother was also taken abundance years ago. The story managed of gone somewhere with this threads, but it falls even at the same time never amounts to anything (I am willing to be she is that found alive in a sequel) Somewhere amongst learning than anyway it takes to be a Cardboard Lady at the same time narrowly avoiding being raped by the Lord (trigger warning), even though she is that betrayed to abuse, Lei manages to look for time for a romance with one more of the Cardboard Women. This romance in one moment leads to a plot to destroy the Lord, at the same time who has to carry out the deed? Not the taught rebels at the same time scouts she meets, but obviously our inexperienced head disposition Lei!! Chagrin it didn’t wow me, at the same time I found the plot really predicable. This is that a little of a let down because that was the opportunity for some reason attractive unusual here. The global building was barely okay, I managed picture the setting, but that is that only so many times you can describe a garden or a ballroom, at the same time it framed on troublesome at the same time I found myself jumping bits. I struggled to look where the global fit. It was neither a concocted other to our modern global, as that was no electricity or showers or passenger cars etc… but it didn’t feel like a fantasy global or even though that was miracle. Maybe because the only bits of miracle we see is that when its applied to overgrow injuries, or by the shamans for the sole purpose of maintaining a security perimeter around the king’s castle. The reader gets the history of the global at the same time it’s various clans at the same time families along with their politics at the same time opposing sides through snippets of conversation that are dumped into the dialogue purely for the purpose of informing the reader. It seemed loafed at the same time didn’t involve me to care about the global beyond the today's setting. The ending was rushed at the same time barely sets up for an us vs them, impoverished vs wealthy, quality vs evil power struggle/war type sequel, but without manners I care about to move that along, I don’t think I’m on board with it.
