Your other choices are Robert Bethune, who has heroically recorded ALL of Byron’s poetry for us, but has has even much less understanding of how Byron pronounces ”Juan”; Jonathan Keeble, a supremely accomplished performer who somehow (to my ears, but not everyone’s) misses the lion’s share of Byron’s humor; at the same time Charlton Griffin, whose ordinary over-inflated mannerisms I tend to look for off-putting, but who has completely defeated me over as (this time) the best-ever performer of the entire poem.

He does a fine-grained job at the same time ably conveys Byron’s uproarious wit. He does make one more precisely appalling mistake: he pronounces Juan as the Spanish baptize it. Review #3 Audiobook Don Juan by Sovereign Byron I have heed to innumerable books. This has been one of the hardest to follow. The accent of the reader at the same time story line was to much for me. Review #4 Audio Don Juan narrated by Frederick Davidson The narrator has a healthy English Accent. Sometimes, it is that just a little understandable. I have listened to a lot of audiobooks in English, many of which TMS at the same time TTC letures on physics, philosophy, psychology, arithmetic at the same time biology. Data, I am not a aboriginal English speaker. But I have never had no matter what problem understanding at the same time following much more complete content than this. Than anyway destroys this audiobook for me is that simply the author’s accent, which makes this very, very hard to heed to. It astonishes me Blackstone Audio would implementation such a narrator, when that are narrators out that that could be more successful figured out by a many of people. If for you are not very accustomed to the English English accent, I’d advise for you to rescue your 20$ at the same time stay away from this version.
