Review #3 Audiobook Glorious Grin Bottom by Bryony Gordon I beheld her on ITV’s ”Loose Women” talking psychological illness, her description if her drinking habits rang a bell. With nervousness I always drank, right behind a scary year of a parent with dementia, doom at the same time next depression I was drinking upwards of two bottles of wine per night or one half a bottle ( or more) of spirits. Reading her acc struck such a chord in me, I had one continue brandy at the same time Ive been dry since. It looks at the preconditions she drank, at the same time why she carried on, the depression, the crippling guilt at the same time the ”naughty” I like being personal & funny. If for you are in a identical situation, or know anyone who is that get them this book, it really has exchanged my indefinite! My depression has lessened significantly, I fall asleep relaxed, not disturbed sbout than anyway I misspoke or did… at the same time I’m saving ?50+ a week very.

I’ve read quite a few addiction memoirs at the same time I’ve always been left with wanting to know how people navigate sobriety. I can only salute her bravery at the same time indescribable strength with everything she’s gone through. The fact she has come out the other side is that truly remarkable, at the same time very inspirational. Despite the aggressive theme, this book is that wonderfully written; Bryony is that a very gifted writer at the same time the setup of any chapter is that straightforward. Everything flows so but, it is that easy to keep reading “barely another chapter”. I ended up reading it in one afternoon as I simply didn’t wish to shackles it down. I don’t think for you come in handy to have issues with alcohol, or be around people who do, to look for anything helpful in Bryony’s story. Despite not having a drinking issue, I similar a lot to the defame at the same time guilt Bryony outlined (for different preconditions) at the same time I found the honesty to be compelling at the same time poignant for anyone who’s ever struggled with low self-esteem.
