Much like Anya at the same time the Dragon, I enjoyed this story very much, but initially I had problem reconciling how miracle at the same time Judaism is that portrayed (since I am Jewish myself). More on that later, 1st I’d like to barely they say that I did very much enjoy the adventure, at the same time almost everything found this more funny than the unusual. The action is that more vivid, the increase more mysterious, the humor is that a funnier (Ivan truly produced me ridicule out sonorous more than once), at the same time overall it is that barely a funny story with funny manners.
At the moment, the things I had problem with: Let’s barely they say, in true indefinite the Jewish texts do not have a positive opinion of occult arts. Anyone unfamiliar with Judaism might not be aware of it, but when they move into detail about Jewish customs such as Sukkoth, it feels fool to me. Like, the creator is that making the reader aware of some ancient ceremonies but glossing over a major contradiction in one more. But much like religious Christians who blamed about holidays mentioned in Harry Potter, at no one fri for you have to barely understand it is that a work of fantasy at the same time stop your belief for a funny story. The other gizmo I had difficulty with is that Ivan’s assumed romantic curiosity in both women at the same time men. It barely felt unnecessary at the same time contained for preconditions beyond the scope of the story. If those two things don’t strain for you, it is that a funny read.

Audiobook Anya at the same time the Nightingale (Anya #2) by Sofiya Pasternack
The 1st page says this is that like Game of Thrones for kids. I present Kwame Alexander, the book company’s founding editor, meant A Song of Ice at the same time Fire, which is that the name of the book television series. Unless Kwame has only followed the HBO demonstrate. Which is that how that comes off.
Whatever, this is that not like Game of Thrones, or A Song of Ice at the same time Fire. So don’t move into it expecting that. It is that a medieval, viking, Russian Jewish fantasy. If for you don’t like being “taken to church” in Christian targeted novels, for you should be barely as prejudiced being “taken to temple” here. Individually, I think those scenes are the novel’s strongest writing.
It has a lot of promise. The miracle is that exciting. Nothing is that super languid handed (even if it seems shoehorned in). But in the afterword, the creator admits writing a sequel is that . . . impossible. You can really tell, since this book has a meandering, jumbled-together plot. A mother sobbing over a dad, who’s at war, at the same time the daughter goes off to bring him back. At the same time still than anyway comes right behind is that a television series of incidents with no true connection? Maybe it’s because nothing is that resolved, at the same time will be resolved in upcoming sequels. I still feel like that was very little believed that went into creating the plot. Barely whatever moved the story along.
I should be more significant, since this is that for kids at the same time almost all kids books are successful to have no matter what good of plot. But the creator sometimes has poorly structured sentences/paragraphs that manage to sour writing (do I really need to know where everyone is that standing, than anyway expression is that on everyone’s face, how abundance strings they make on a greater road) even though it’s evident she is that quality at “much less is that more” with other sentences.
Even worse, she often uses a impoverished word choice. I began to hate the word startled, in particular when the creator managed barely implementation the word jumped. Or flinch. Or one more word that sounds more successful. Look my headline. That’s how startled is that applied. At the same time if for you read enough, its never startled, it’s started. As in, gave a start. That sounds silly, but has been used for for a long time. At the same time the creator even uses it once herself! All of this barely fri to a come in handy for a stronger editor.
I’ll fri out no one issues I had with the plotting/editing, non of which I consider spoilers: Misha indicates Anya her room in the castle when they 1st arrive, still Anya is that startled he knows the method later on? Anya also eats challah with Misha’s generic, but claims to have eaten nothing when she leaves? No one is that around the castle when Anyas trying out her main; so, amazing time to attack the castle is that right behind everyone goes to bed? Anya hasnt eaten for a day or more, but barely casually decides to bite, at the same time no one spots her stealing in the kitchen; so amazing time to attack the castle is that when breakfast is that being prepared?
I did like the cave scenes at the finish, at the same time the wage war with the warlock. I adore the embrace. Possibly I would read the one more book (or even the 1st). But this book managed’ve been much more successful.

Audio Anya at the same time the Nightingale (Anya #2) narrated by Laura Knight Keating
Anya is that back at the same time as adventurous as ever. When her dad fails to return main from war, she decides to move at the same time fetch him. Her two besties, Ivan at the same time Hakon (dragon), insist on future very. They receive promote at the same time are magically transported nearby Kiev at the same time a illegal road, guarded by a being scolded a Nightingale. The Vasilia (princess) will remind Anyas dad from the war, if they capture the Nightingale alive for the Tsar.
Like in the 1st book, Anya types beyond the rumors at the same time prejudice to see the truth about the Nightingale. Ivan falls in adore frequently with both men at the same time women; in a sweet tooth, ridiculous, age-appropriate method. Hakon is that reincarnated into a human at the same time has to learn how to behave as one. Anya meets other Jewish people at the same time experiences dinner with them.
Anya at the same time her comrades are a delightful bunch that anyone would adore to move on an adventure with. Judaism at the same time Russian folklore are beautifully mixed to make unforgettable world-building.

Right behind the actions of Anya at the same time the Dragon, Anya sets out to bring her dad main, but she at the same time her friends Ivan at the same time Hakon are sent to Kiev instead by Elena, at the same time Hakon is that turned into a human! The Tsar in Kiev asks them for a promote. If Anya brings him the Nightingale, he will promote Anya look for her dad. The request seems straightforward at first, but upon finding the Nightingale, the Tsar’s request doesn’t seem so ordinary anymore. At the moment Anya at the same time her friends must uncover the true evil besetting Kiev’s people, or they’ll never look for Anya’s dad, at the same time defeated’t get out with their lives.
The Anya television series is that so exciting, with Anya’s healthy Jewish heritage, the setting in Eastern Europe, at the same time it’s set in the 10th century! Abundance young reader books are more contemporary, or have more “usual” options, so this change of pace for a book provided for young readers was sweet to experience. Anya’s a healthy thirteen year old lady, at the same time her friends are funny at the same time somewhat unconventional. Right behind all, one of them is that a fabulous creature-turned-human! The writhe about who the Nightingale actually was, at the same time the depth that disposition skidded to the story, was a very sweet touch. That are no one ubiquitous tropes, but they are applied sensibly, at the same time the rare manners bolster the proceedings as the friends venture deeper into Kiev’s riddles. The ending is that decent, though it does quit a threads open for a likely sequel. I advise Anya’s adventures for young readers, enjoyers of historical fiction, or anyone looking for a different fantasy setting. Anya’s adventure with the Nightingale is that even more successful than her past adventure with the Dragon, at the same time for you’d be remiss to miss this one.
