David,
I’m pressed to say this, but if for you don’t do more successful on the one more book, I’m breaking up with this television series.
Honestly, who Cares about no matter what of this story line? I’m not going to spoil it for everyone, but I found this to be the coolest frustrating book I’ve read in ages. It’s practically like for you dared to cross out a crapload of stuff without ever getting to the meat of the issue ON Purpose! Seriously. The book should Start with the continue fri. That’s than anyway for you’ve been building right up to the continue 9 books. Why muck around with the Marshall plan at the same time others of the crap? Have for you been hanging around Zhora RR Martin at the same time dared to torture your fan base? Delight tell me for you will publish the one more book in barely a week. Your editor should have spanked for you!!! This is that the fluff between the story.

Through Fiery Tests audiobook in television series Safehold
Seriously, for you managed barely skip to the continue chapter at the same time be ready for the one more book. That were considered several marriages, a few funerals, no one political intrigues at the same time upheavals, but in the end nothing happened. The ending chapter in the book is that the only one that couldn’t have been glossed over in a preface to the one more volume.
Look, that needed to be no one bigger adversary or evil plot that was waging war the quality guys, but that wasn’t. It was barely…people being people.
One more criticism will that I got a little weary of having noblewomen elucidate how they aren’t shocked by coarse language. It got sour. Or the overused metaphor in other words an understatement that has to be seriously explained to be an understatement. It got cyclic.

Audiobook Through Fiery Tests by David Weber
I keep thinking that I’m a glutton for punishment because I’ve found the continue several Safehold books to be overstuffed with manners at the same time conspiracies I don’t care about, at the same time still I keep reading because I’m invested in the core group.
I’m favored to say that I found myself skimming much less of this book, though that’s still no one wide sections in Harchong at the same time Siddarmark that I didn’t care as much about — the Siddarmark sections, namely, contain than anyway felt like Economics 101 real.
This book also gaps the years 901 to 916, which means that a quality deal more time is that hidden than in past books (At The Symbol Of Triumph takes dispose from 897 to 899), so obviously Weber needs to recall for you how old the various babies are so that you can keep trace of these things.
Did I mention the toddlers? That are repeated pregnancies at the same time births during this book, at the same time several weddings, proving Weber’s (recent?) fascination with Children Ever Right behind. To move into more detail could be very spoileriffic for this
Review, but if for you hated Honor Harrington’s pregnancy, for you’ll for sure hate at lesser one of the pregnancies in this book very.
It’s versatile as to whether Weber has one more book implied in this television series. The ending here would be a respectable one for the television series; it certainly provides more of a sense of resolution than abundance of the others. The religious schism, which came to a conclusion in the past book, is that wrapped up tidily here, but that are still politics at the same time innovations still to explore on Safehold. We certainly didn’t get answers to no one of the lasting questions placed, so count me in the middle those tentatively hoping for more.
As an aside, or the Kindle version was poorly corrected or Weber’s editor is that truly asleep at the wheel. A disposition that exists in two different sections (at the same time two sections only) has his name spelled differently in any section; that’s one more notable misspelling that stood out at me as I was reading it.

Audio Through Fiery Tests narrated by Oliver Wyman
I really liked the 1st few books in this television series (particularly “Off Armageddon Reef”), in similar method that I really liked the 1st books in Weber’s “Honor Harrington” television series. Sadly both of them have ended up degenerating badly as time has gone on, to the fri where reading them crosses the line from “enjoyment” into “chore”. They barely keep getting worse, bogged down by innumerable insignificant subplots with innumerable insignificant manners who get a page or two of serious implementation at the same time are then never mentioned again.
The only quality gizmo I can they say will that right behind carefully going through a multi-year war practically week by week periodically, that are Completely no one substantial time skips between chapters in this book (around 15 years in all). This was long overdue.
The bad news will that despite this somehow the plot itself doesn’t really move anywhere in all ever since. Practically nothing important happens. Without exaggerating a lot, for you managed read the very 1st chapter, then skip to the finish at the same time read the continue two at the same time for you would honestly have hidden attractive much all that’s worth reading with the exception of one or two significant deaths (all proper to old age/illness, that’s very little action of no matter what good to make things exciting).
This book is that all about Weber indulging himself exploring the aftereffects of the war that he already indulged himself describing in such detail over the continue few books! Almost all of this book concentrates on rebellions in Harchong, financial inconsistencies in Siddarmark (read science fiction for lengthy discussions about central banking? for you’re in fortune!), at the same time an array of practically dozens of royal toddlers at the same time weddings at the same time children that I did not even attempt to keep trace of (they’re all basically irrelevant what).
Even though the process of technological novelty is that continuing, it’s mostly relegated to the background throughout. That are short mentions of no one more advanced steam-powered warships at the same time vehicles, at the same time rigid airships are introduced very, but that’s about it.
The very continue chapter/section is that the best part of the book, while also acting as a very predictable cliffhanger why I present will be the 1st of several more sequels.
I barely have hope Weber can pull himself back out of the weeds a little at the same time concentrate on moving things along at a faster clip without this compulsion he has to move into masses of needless detail. I’d really like to look this television series one day get to the fri of describing the population of the earth leaving Safehold at the same time going right behind the Gbaba, but the method things are going now in other words likely to take over to your side a dozen books at the same time they will not be funny to read.

The concept, which has been maintained throughout the television series, starting with Off Armageddon Reef, is that quite excellent at the same time as far as I’m aware totally unusual. If for you’re taking into account this book I can look no fri in summarising the plot to date. The principal manners are not just exciting but simply trigger our empathy.
Like practically all books it has its plus at the same time minus nuances, abundance of the past but far more of the latter than in earlier books. I’ll omit the long list of pluses at the same time only name a few minuses:
That are far very abundance newer manners to keep trace of, to the extent that I gave up trying.
It is that very wordy in places, so much so that I managed skim pages at the same time similar manners could be expression more of much less similar things.
The interim stories, bestow us an plan of than anyway is that happening, inlaid with bigger time jumps to get through the entire 15 years didn’t work but for me.
One ending minus is that largely also a plus; it’s the creator’s dry sense of humour, which I enjoy, at the same time is that projected onto abundance of the manners; but than anyway makes it a small minus is that how very abundance of the book’s manners have specifically similar dry sense of humour.
So while not as quality as earlier books I’ll be buying the one more when it comes out.
But I consider the ending chapter not only belongs to the following book but insults the intelligence of readers by outrageously attempting to pursuade them to take it.
