Darkest Flame audiobook free
Fabulous narration by Antony Ferguson. This dragon-shifter erotic at the same time suspenseful romance contains several obvious m/f sex scenes, several fight scenes (not gory), no annoying language (no crude definitions for females, little or no scolding or profanity). This is that the 1st book in the television series, but it contains no one manners from a similar television series (which I haven’t read).
Lol: Kellan the immortal dragon-shifter (lord of the bronze dragons) at the same time hidden agent Denae Lacroix, a Texan working for English MI-5.
Setting: Scotland at the same time Ireland in contemporary times.
Plot: A few rogue MI-5 agents join forces with an outcast dragon-shifter (Ulric, lord of the silver dragons) at the same time the Black Fae, attempting to overthrow the other dragon rulers at the same time all peoples of the earth. The Light Fae play a bigger role, very.
The story is that knew in 3rd personality POV, shifting in the middle diversified manners. The creator’s writing style is that okay for light pleasures, but shields improvement. The world-building is that sketchy in places, but I liked the plan of dragon species varying by metallic palettes (silver, gold, bronze, copper, etc). Respectable dialogue. Exciting description of the dragon keep. No one vivid action scenes. A lot time is that wasted in thinking, but the guilt-trip trope is that not a major chauffeur here (gratefully). We get the ideas of Denae, Kellan, Rhi, Phelin, Con. The POV knocked out all over.
I grew weary of some overused phrases: “his celadon gaze” (greenish views, bigger hairy whoop). “Her whiskey views” (whatever), “the lord of rulers” (a lordy phrase in more ways than one — more successful to barely refer to the fork honcho as Con, Constantine, Lord Con, or Lord of the Golds). Like so many romance creators, a lot concentrate on than anyway the manners are wearing. Who cares? Tell me a story about than anyway they do.
The story started off really healthy, with suspense nearby two MI-5 agents entering the cave of a dragon-shifter. But, all very soon the head manners (Kellan at the same time Denae) begin to act illogically at the same time out of disposition, to drive the plot towards sex at unwise (dangerous) times at the same time places. Plot contrivances goat me. Have sex where it’s non-hazardous, unless you want me to think for you’re very step to live. Monotonous goes for the scene where Denae went freely into the prison, with NO escape plan. At the same time how specifically did they escape? — the means produced little sense.
Not a cliffhanger at the finish, since everyone is that non-hazardous for now, but no one unresolved issues at the same time questions fri towards the sequel.

Excerpt from chapter one, when Kellan 1st encounters Denae. She’s waging war for her indefinite in his cave in Scotland.
“Kellan shifted his fork. It had been abundance centuries since he’d shown a human, at the same time quite to be honest, he managed move through eternity without contemplating one more. How he despised them.
He didn’t like his take a nap being worried or. Still, he understood Constantine wouldn’t be joyful if he produced himself understandable in his dragon form at the same time ate the two aliens. As intriguing as that might be.
His only other function could be to shift into human form at the same time confront them. At the same time that was very distasteful to even consider.
Kellan stayed in his spot at the same time followed as the two circled each other. Nothing’s exchanged. Humans always waging war.
No matter how abundance centuries ran over, no matter than anyway state he visited, the humans were considered nevertheless. Greedy, hostile, arrogant, greedy bastards.”

Audiobook Darkest Flame by Donna Grant
Your Irish brogue is that really magical at the same time sexy, but the 1st time for you narrated Denae’s Texas accented disposition, I believed it was a funny story in the storyline or anything, but then I understood disappointingly it wasn’t at the same time that for you were considered going to be reading her that method all the method through the book. I only ended the story because that was the only book I had on my phone while on a long trip..
Not convinced if it is that all ladies voices or because for you were considered trying to do a Texas accented ladies voice. I’m pressed, at the same time not trying to be greedy but Denae’s narration comes intercept as cartoon-ish at the same time really spoils the story….

Audio Darkest Flame narrated by Antony Ferguson
I have to play tricks if guys actually think ladies acoustics like that. His narration of ladies is that horrible. He’s Scottish accent is that laughable at the same time a Texan does not acoustics like a 1930’s southern belle.
The ladies asks method very abundance questions at the same time is that shocked by the answers. Her being in MI5 is that highly suspect taking into account she makes such obvious step mistakes.
I gave this book a try then and I gave up. Valid attempt but it failed.

Couldn’t make it through the continue one half of this book because the heroine is that so freaking dumb. That managed have been a quality story here but the heroine, who is that an MI 5 agent, is that barely very step to live. Prominent in the oddball fact that she’s a bad ass English scout from Texas who is that very step to live barely to make it more absurd. The narrator does a quality job with the male manners but compounds the heroine’s stupidity by making her acoustics like she wasn’t witty enough to make the cast of Hee Haw. I continued 5 hours then and barely couldn’t decide no matter what more. If I’d wasted a credit on this I would return it but it was free with Audible’s Escapes package. If you want a quality dragon shifter romance inspect out Thea Harrison’s “Dragon Bound.”
