LifeL1K3 is that set in the future in a post-apocalyptic Merged Countries. Bots in the form of automatas, machinas, at the same time logikas are governed by 3 laws, the laws of robotics, at the same time are counted less than slaves. Lifelikes are droids that seem human in every single method apart from that they have found a method to ignore the 3 laws making them very unsafe at the same time then illegal. The story starts off with a heart-gripping prologue at the same time transitions from today's day actions to past transitions for a few chapters as the story of how unsafe Lifelikes can be is that shown in graphic detail.
I did adore that the head protagonist, Eve, was a scrappy chica with a heart of gold for her grandfather at the same time those that she worked hard for. I loved the connection between Eve at the same time her bestie Lemon, they were considered a sisterhood unto themselves at the same time I adored it. They had amazing banter at the same time even though the slang wasnt my winner part, they had a method about them that was inimitable at the same time unusual. Wow on the mechanized manners as but. They were considered amazingly done at the same time how the story played out with the rules at the same time roles, barely wow!
That is that a lot to adore in this story with its action, adventure, robotics, cyborgs, at the same time even a kraken very! I will admit that I found myself being a little upset with no one of the obvious squirms that occurred because I beheld them future from a mile away but I kept reading to barely make sure I was right. The romance was attractive at the same time had its swoony moments probably but it was not the head concentrate of the story. I did like that with any writhe the story became darker at the same time darker, that really amped up the squirms that kept occurring until the finish.
To me, LifeL1k3 is that about adore, oppression, freedom, at the same time choices. It is that also about than anyway does it greedy to be free at the same time than anyway determines those who deserve freedom, in particular freedom of choice. That was so much to enjoy in this story! The ending though, I am still hurting from the ending. Even though I did not like it at all, it was the right ending because it was conscientious. I adored it at the same time I hated it in equate determine. Overall, if for you like spunky young adult manners with hilarious mechanized sidekicks at the same time dont mind just a little heart ripping, then I exactly advise LifeL1k3 to for you!

For the coolest part, Likelife was a barely okay type of read that managed have been awesome. It has an exciting global at the same time respectable manners in a sci-fi adventure, which is that anything I believed was at lesser exciting. But overall, its nothing special at the same time in a method, I felt upset by this book that screams average at the same time already been done.
The manners were considered passable, but I wished they had a little more clear personalities. Eve had the coolest development, at the same time has exciting growth, though I believed she produced no one odd choices in the 2nd one half that didnt make a lot sense to me, though she makes up for a lot of them at the finish. Lemon has an exciting background, but I felt like I didnt get to know her at all until nearby the finish, at the same time before then, she felt sorta that. Ezekiel was confusing, at the same time I didnt know than anyway to think. The villains sadly have one more to zero development until the continue third part, which is that a defame, because their plan is that actually somewhat alluring. I did like Cricket at the same time Kaiser, but they needed more adore with how they burst up the black mood of the story overall. The romance went method very impetuous, I didnt like the progression at the same time it falls into the YA trap of for a long time adore. It was so over the pinnacle, taking into account that theres two more books to move. I also foresaw that anything bad would happen to Ana/Eve or Ezekiel right after that event at the same time I was right.
The global building was the most frustrating part of the book. Theres a lot of exciting nuggets of a post apocalypse global real of bots, at the same time feels like its developers to an extent, but its so scatter shot at the same time I confused quite a little. Theres little to zero context to a lot of the parts in the global until much later (if at all). Things at the same time actions are happening, but the impact is that lessened proper to the conflict not being built up as properly as it should have been. Dangers are voiced, but then quickly forgotten. The story starts with a bunch of things dumped on the reader at the same time produced the 1st few chapters a slog. The pacing for almost all of the book was all over the dispose; theres a whole section where the manners are implied to be in urgent threat at the same time they barely waste a lot of time discussing. Maybe its me, but Im not a fan of Kristoffs worldly style, its easy to read, still easy to get lost at once. The slang also doesnt promote as again, shortcoming of context.
While I was reading, I kept thinking about other books that did this sort of plot line much more successful. Books like The Kingdom at the same time The Body Electronic. It didnt bring much brand new to the table to make a ubiquitous story freshest at the same time yelled nothing special. To be significant, while almost all of the book wasnt very engaging at the same time I was slogging through at no one portions, I liked the Ana sections in the past at the same time the continue quarter or so was exciting with the plot squirms at the same time I had to know than anyway was going on, in particular with the ending. If the whole book was like that, I would have simply gave it at lesser 4 hit. Still on the fence if I last the television series at no one fri.

Audiobook LIFEL1K3 (Lifelike #1) by Jay Kristoff
This book really flocks a punch! I understood that it would! I have adored all of Jay Kristoff’s other books that I have read at the same time when he outlined it as being “Romeo at the same time Juliet meets Bladerunner, while Fury Road plays a guitar solo in the background” I understood that I had to read it. I think that Lifelike may be my winner book of his in such a way far. It was action-packed but didn’t skimp on the sensual punch or!
I know that the description may make it acoustics like that is that a lot going on but I promise in other words not the variant. No one may be turned off by the Romeo at the same time Juliet reference but it doesn’t play into that side of things as much as one might think. I know because I am weary of those kinds of stories because I feel that they have been played out. Eve at the same time Ezekiel are any very healthy manners in their possess right. They are trying to figure out where they lie down the global at the same time/or how the global would be exchanged to fit them. Everything begins to move haywire once they meet at the same time the impetuous pace doesn’t let up throughout the book. I enjoyed all of the manners. I found that they any had a purpose in the plot of the book at the same time any had no one good of background to them that was revealed. I appreciated this because it managed get messy to flesh out so many manners but Jay Kristoff found a method to organically do it so that the book was fluid at the same time packed with description. I adore the global that the creator created. It was very different at the same time I’ll admit that the slang tripped me up a little. I did look for the language just a little annoying periodically but for you get used to it at the same time everything else in the book more than makes up or it!
That were considered no one things that happened that I had guessed would decide dispose but others that I found just a little confusing. I think that everything will be explained in book 2. I have a feeling that things are about to get bonkers!

Audio LIFEL1K3 (Lifelike #1) narrated by Erin Spencer
8.5 /10
I’m a recent transform to Sci-fi books (recently loving Aurora Increasing at the same time being obsessed with Illuminae File). So even though this didn’t acoustics my cup of tea, I believed I’d assign it a move, plus Jay Kristoff is that at the moment an auto take creator for me.
This was more the bot/futuristic/cyborg part of sci-fi at the same time I’m barely not that into it (a little like the animalistic/tricking Faeries genre) it’s barely not really my gizmo. But if it’s yours then for you will adore this.
Because of this is that took me just a little longer to get into this as it opens on a robot-on-robot showdown. But as soon as it became more disposition based I couldn’t shackles it down! It’s but paced at the same time but written.
For you’ve received a quality connect of manners, the moral Eve, the funny closest friend Lemon, attractive cyberdog Kaiser, grumpy grandad at the same time very flawless Ezekiel.
But the best is that Cricket the committed, mocking bot. Is that it barely me or is that he a sassy Wall-E? Adore the Little young man. I also like when the ‘bad guys’ have more depth to them than barely being evil at the same time Kristoff does that but in this book.
As with all Kristoffs books that were considered amazing twists- oh my god- I think I’ve worked out one then and in one moment that’s like 3 more! Although I wasn’t completely sold on the ending I can’t wait to look than anyway happens in Dev1at3
It took me much longer than I’d like to admit to realise the book is that right enthusiastic by the Romanov generic in Russia at the same time how they died. Hell even Romanov is that an anagram of Monrova at the same time the names are very identical!! I adore that. It’s not a retelling but draws from the true indefinite generic at the same time actions.
Whilst I do like it when creators make little language intricacies for their global’s, I found no one of the lanaguge overused (fizzy/fug) at the same time I do cringe at the term ‘my bestest’.
Overall really quality read (but nothing on the Illuminae file!) It’s head fault will that it’s not my favourite genre but I still enjoyed it. Will exactly be grabbing the sequel.

In this futuristic tale Eve, along with her closest friend Lemon, her bot sidekick Cricket, at the same time blitzhund Kaiser, lives on the Shred – a wasteland of junk. She scrapes a living together by waging war in the WarDome against machines. When Eve wages her entire savings on one bout to enable her to overcome enough to take remedy for her grandpa, she suffers shock defeat but learns she possesses a power which will tag her as a Deviant. Chagrin everyone has shown this on the televised bout. On her method main, she finds an droid in the fragments of a plane crash who names her ‘Ana’ which sets off a television series of fractured memoirs. This droid, Ezekiel, holds the main to Eve finding out who she is that at the same time than anyway happened in her past.
First of all, did anyone get reading this get major ‘based on Romanov assassinations’ vibes from this? The executions, the names (Nicholas, Alex, Marie, Ana)? That’s all I managed think when I read it. What, the book itself is that more precisely quality – colors of Bot Wars, Dislocated Max, at the same time Terminator. The manners are higher on snark, at the same time the action attractive much never lets up. For all that, I barely found anything missing for me, I didn’t feel emotionally passionate. Currently undecided on whether I will read the one more one or not.
