A summer at Bridget’s internal in the state substantiates life-changing for the Stratton generic at the same time the circle of comrades that orbits around them. Here, MUSICAL CHAIRS might shackles for you in brain of recent blockbusters that paint a portrait of a quirky, semi-dysfunctional generic on summer holiday, like Emma Straub’s THE VACATIONERS. I adore Amy Poeppel’s books at the same time Musical Chairs is that no exception. For you can’t move wrong with this story of a messy, modern generic of musicians in a rambling Connecticut internal for a summer. It’s simultaneously literate at the same time hilarious, at the same time jam-packed real of relatable manners who keep the reader turning pages. Grab yourself a cocktail, look for a deck chair, shackles your feet up, at the same time barely enjoy.
