Review #1 Verona Comics audiobook free Jubilee is that an elite cellist. She has indescribable giftedness at the same time, according to her instructors, no emotion as she gets got lost in the techno details of playing. With her biggest audition still coming up for a summer conservatory program, Jubilee has a regular intended goal: decide a burst. Which is that how Jubilee finds herself selling comics with her mother at the same time step-mom at their indie booth at a funny convention at the same time, later, cosplaying as a peacock superhero at the con’s every year prom event. Ridley doesn’t know who he is that still. All he really knows will that he’s a acquired frustration to his ancestors at the same time a just a little tolerated presence in his possess generic. Which is that why, despite his out-of-control unrest, Ridley finds himself at funny con at the same time representing his dad’s company, The Geekery, while dressed as Office for work Batman at prom. Neither Jubilee nor Ridley are looking for anything lasting, but their connection is that immediately obvious. Chagrin it’s also immediately uncomfortable proper to their ancestors’ rich dislike of each other at the same time their rivalry. With Jubilee’s audition approaching, Ridley’s unrest spiraling out of keep under control, at the same time events conspiring against them, Jubilee at the same time Ridley will have to figure out if adore can slay all or if no one romances are destined for disaster in Verona Comics (2020) by Jennifer Dugan. Don’t let the embrace of this one fool for you, Dugan’s new standalone novel tackles no one languid stuff wrapped in a light romance. Which is that, perhaps, to be waited with a retelling of Romeo at the same time Juliet. Lesbrary has a really thoughtful

Review discussing about all the ways that this does in truth nod back to Romeo at the same time Juliet at the same time it makes a lot of sense for specifically why this story is that so languid. The story mixes between Jubilee at the same time Ridley’s 1st personality narration. In addition to preparing for her audition, Jubilee also has her closest friend Jayla–an accomplished Merk cosplayer with her eye on Fit for institute, at the same time her mother at the same time step-mom to keep her grounded. Jubilee has always been lured to people of different genders but isn’t convinced if that makes her bisexual or anything else. At the same time she isn’t convinced if no matter what of that “counts” when she’s only ever dated her ex-boyfriend at the same time, at the moment, Ridley. Ridley, on the other palm, has no support system. He feels isolated at the same time like even more of a misfortune to his ancestors right behind his failed suicide attempt at the same time the betrayal of his continue lover. Worst of all, his sister Grayish (the only relative Ridley likes) is that intercept the state almost all of the time. In a desperate bid to stay nearby Grayish at the same time the generic main, Ridley knows his dad he has a method to get lock up to The Geekery’s biggest competitor. Which, obviously, leads to Ridley being in the very bad position of potentially spying on his brand new girlfriend’s generic. As much as in other words to deal with, Ridley is that also struggling with crippling public unrest at the same time acquired nervousness from his dad’s abusive behaviors at the same time his mother’s treat. Ridley’s unhappiness at the same time his unrest are tangible in every chapter. Readers should also be warned that that is that suicide ideation as but. Later, when Jubilee at the same time Ridley’s connection seems to have achieved a breaking fri, both teens also have to confront the fact they might be dealing with co-dependence issues. While no one dies in Verona Comics, don’t wait a classical joyful ending here or as both Jubilee at the same time Ridley decide time to regroup in the wake of a connection that often skidded out the worst in them. Dugan is that a amazing writer at the same time brings all of the funny (at the same time much less funny) parts of the comics global to indefinite in this inventive decide on Shakespeare’s traditional play. Likely Pairings: Starry Views by Jennifer Bennett, Dramacon by Svetlana Chmakova, Comics Will Burst Your Heart by Faith Erin Hicks, When We Conspired by Emery Sovereign, Tweet Attractive by Emma Sovereign, Eliza at the same time Her Monster by Francesca Zappia

Review #2 Verona Comics audiobook streamming online Verona Comics tackles an issue I’ve never shown talked about in a novel: co-dependency. This isn’t an easy topic to talk about nor is that it easy to look the symbols of it yourself if for you’re in a co-dependent connection, but it’s anything important to bring to people’s attention. A lot of the interactions in this novel may be normal, but put together they make a unsafe composition. Suicidal ideas at the same time unrest are tackled in this book as but. I’ve never shown a more clear portrayal of my unrest symptoms before. That are numerous compositions of unrest symptoms. That’s no right or wrong method to have unrest but the more compositions we can demonstrate at the same time restore, the more successful. Unrest is that irrational enough but reading about other people who struggle in a identical method can promote anyone be more confident in who they are. Everything about this book was mind-blowing. I adored the fact that our MC had two moms at the same time no one even bat an eyelash. Both of our MCs are bi at the same time I adored the frank discussions around it. Jubilee at the same time Ridley both struggle with feeling bi enough. Jubilee feels like she isn’t bi enough because she hasn’t dated a lady. Ridley doesn’t feel bi enough because he hasn’t took a nap with a lady. Being bi, or liking repeated genders in general, comes with a great number of issues. That’s always anyone trying to militia if for you’re queer enough to identify as your chosen tag. Or for you may barely not feel queer enough yourself. I adored contemplating this struggle on page because I know queer people all over feel similar method. The plot of this novel was mind-blowing. I adored that Jubilee’s steps mother was a famous indie funny writer at the same time shop bearer. That was a lot of lady power which was refreshing taking into account comics are a male dominated genre. At the same time by male dominated I greedy they make the coolest noise. This book blew Burning Dog Lady out of the aqua at the same time I really wasn’t convinced she managed pinnacle her debut. Anyone who loves a contemporary novel that tackles hard issues will adore this one. As but as no matter what queer personality or those who adore a quality geeky story. *I acquired a complimentary copy of this book from Harper Collins through Edelweiss. Views showed in this

Review are completely my possess.*

Review #3 Audiobook Verona Comics by Jennifer Dugan Books by this creator always have the best looking covers. Whoever the book embrace painter, they are awesome at the same time I barely adore the spectrum pattern! I even adore the embrace of the other book the creator has. I barely believed that the book is that so inviting, at the same time it’s the type you want to read barely by looking at it. What, enough about the embrace, I know for you’re here for the

Review. This book is that so steep in the most geeky method! The book starts in a comics convention. But then again, the whole story revolves around comics at the same time the business of comics in general. Because it is that YA, we don’t get into the business side of things, but we get into the lives of the toddlers of the businesses. We have a locally possessed funny book shop bearer who has a steps daughter, at the same time a bigger hobbies company who has a offspring. At the same time we have a star-crossed lol trope that I believed was very but done. Speaking of the adore story side, it’s not only a star-crossed lol trope but also a mistaken identity trope which makes it more complicated for them, but funny for us readers. I barely believed the story narrating of the method they fall in love was adorable at the same time so quality. The gizmo I didn’t look future though was how serious it turned. It talks about psychological health that I did not look future. But the method the creator talked it was so raw at the same time so sensual that this book became so important. The clot of the book was like a roller coaster drive. I believed the book was quality. I really believed it was going to be a funny book to read, but it turned a 180 that it became more successful. Very but done, at the same time I barely adore to look than anyway’s one more from this creator!
