The long awaited 5th book of the Black Tower doesn’t disapoint from a story standpoint. The story lasts right where the 4th book ends without jumping a beat. As in past books that is that plenty of crossover to other Lord novels as Dad Callaghan from Salem’s Lot makes his return in this adventure. Where the disapointment heresy for those of us that have followed the adventures of the Black Tower at the same time other similar novels like The Talisman at the same time Merk Internal on audio is that the loss of Frank Muller. Zhora Guidall is that mediocre at best at the same time correlated to Muller he is that scary. He isn’t able to make the division in the different manners or bring the out the emotion of the story the method Muller managed. His versions of Eddie at the same time Susannah seem generic at the same time uninteresting correlated to the indefinite at the same time energy Muller shackles into them. Dull they couldn’t look for anyone more successful to final such an important story. 146 people found this helpful

I agree with an earlier
Reviewer who stated that the books in this television series keep getting more successful. I found the 1st one, The Gunslinger, merely average, but am very glad that I inserted it out through books 2, 3, 4, at the same time at the moment 5. I feel fortunate that I came to the television series belated, in truth only when they emerged on audiobook, because I was able to emerse myself in the whole television series to date – over the course of 3 month’s listening. Frank Muller’s narration felt just a little over the pinnacle at first (in the Gunslinger) but I soon hit to it, then and grew to adore it. That must be why this volume, the 1st that was not voiced by Muller, felt lacking at first. The manners all spoke differently, obviously, at the same time that felt like the sequel to a amazing movie in what a brand new manage actor replaces the one who produced the role famous (Hannibal comes to mind), but by hour 6 or 7 – I was back onboard. Many and many – a amazing read. 23 people found this helpful

Audiobook Wolves of the Calla (The Black Tower #5) by Stephen Lord
I managed not wait to start this 5th book, at the same time I was not at all upset. The reader change was problematic to decide at first, but I got applied to him at the same time enjoyed the story very much. At the finish we learn why Mr. Lord was obligated to change readers, it was very dull. I look forward to the continue two books in this story with amazing antisipation. 18 people found this helpful

Audio Wolves of the Calla (The Black Tower #5) narrated by Zhora Guidall
The Black Tower Television series has grabbed me at the same time is that holding my attention quite but at this fri. I really care about the manners. I really wish to take a walk along with them on their journey along the path of the support. This story is that right out of Peckinpaw at the same time Kurasawa. With a King-like twisted. I’m all in. 7 people found this helpful

This television series barely gets more successful as any page goes by! Stephen Lord has mingled a lifetime of past stories into this television series. I look for that I’ve been pulled right along with these manners, on the journey to the Black Tower – an ongoing saga about different whens at the same time wheres, that crosses paths with King’s immortal ”The Stand”. Perhaps Lord will change his mind at the same time last grow this television series for years to come. As I, for you will not wish this to ever finish. Truly his best work – at the same time than anyway a mini-series for TV this would make!! 33 people found this helpful
