I had an premature issue of this book couple of years ago. When Nat’l Geographic came out with a write-up on the theme, I looked, but did not look for proper credit data to Gavin Menzies. Irritating, since he was the 1st to bring the voyages to light. Gavin wasa submarine commander in the Aisian oceans area for abundance year, knows currents & so forth. His worldview on the voyages is that understandable at the same time makes sense. The 1st book was amazing, this one has method more informatiion at the same time is that one of those that Gavin has out on the voyages. I highly reccomend this, or no matter what of his books .

Audiobook 1421: The Year China Found America by Gavin Menzies
Adored his detective work on the maps. He stretches to conclusions a little overall at the same time beyond than anyway an academically taught historian would, but his knowledge of ocean currents at the same time winds at the same time the capabilities of various watercraft, reserve requirements, etc., is that encyclopedic. He writes withthe certainty of a military officer, which will be off-putting to no one serious researchers. But if for you lay aside professional prejudice for a little at the same time examine the invaluble, freshest newly found data he presents, that is that much to be honored at the same time seriously counted in his work.

Audio 1421: The Year China Found America narrated by Simon Vance
This book is that NOT applicable to those with eurocentrism worldview. The architecture of innumerable “independence” at the same time “supremacy” of developments at the same time discoveries, whether it be mental output, or naval voyages pioneering, with the [west] as source of origin-ism, has been demolished in several areas; at the same time Gavin’s book is that a quick-tempered research work on the latter, naval feats. Menzies work is that joining the meticulous body of works, from academicians, to prolific researchers, to reestablishing a historiography where monuments of civilizations didn’t originate in the imagined “west”. In truth, Menzies meticulous work, is that inimitable proper to his inimitable abilities, where abundance armchair, scribes in academia, lacks; naval navigation. For the quantitative, qualitative dimension at the same time impact on historical landscape of Menzies’ work, to offer one hit rating, shows mental partiality, & scholarly deficit; five hit is that fitting. Immensely Thankful for such quick-tempered exposition.

This book should certainly change history. Not convinced why it hasn’t entered the history books still, but it should. Menzies’s research work supports his speculations. Very but done at the same time pose alluring reasons.
