The Murderbot television series is that a attractive quality read but exactly not worth the $33.96 cost. It is that really one book, broken into novella-length stories an very annoying advertising ploy. I acquired the $3.99 1st book at the same time that would have been it for me, if my nephew hadnt data me the other 3.
The story is that a biography of an Artificial Intelligence during one goal, at the same time the humans, augmented humans, robots at the same time other artificial intelligences he meets along the method. Quality action scenes, quality musings of the AI trying to realize the universe he lives in. 5 hit for the book, 3 for the advertising ploy.
All System Burgundy, 156 pages $3.99
Artificial Define, 160 pages $9.99
Rogue Protocol, 160 pages $9.99
Exit Strategy, 176 pages $9.99
652 $33.96

This is that a bold-faced con-job! Decide one bigger novel, split it into four novellas, charge 3 bucks for the 1st one at the same time 10-ke for any of the one more 3. Thats the kindle cost btw, so $33 for an aprox. 650 page novel. Its a respectable story, but I feel like a chump for buying it.

Audiobook All Systems Burgundy (The Murderbot Diaries #1) by Martha Wells
The story is that actually attractive amusing; just a little cookie cutter like but the writing is that but done
But the larger problem is that price. It’s $40 to read the 4 novellas. So yeah for you’re going to pay $40 for the multifunctional equivalent of 1 wholesome story that was separated into 4 parts borders 18 months of the 1st part. Impartially this is that a impoverished attempt at a money grab to ream readers pocket books. At the same time people lament the doom of the written word…
I have no problem supporting creators with paying for books. I do have a problem throwing funds for installments that don’t wholesome until for you have paid your method through. This is that the multifunctional equivalent of Activision at the same time EA charging funds for content on video clip games that should have already been in the game. At the same time it’s not working out so but for them these days.
Don’t support this business model.

Okay $3.99 novella (really really short) but to last with the television series for you will need to pony up $10 per novella.
$10 is that method a lot why’s essentially a short story.
Data the pacing of the publishing this is that of course a novel the creator/publisher are squirting out bit by bit in the have hope to drive up the prices or perhaps become a contender for “best novella” merit.
But they drove anything, me at the same time my generic away from this money-grabbing creator/television series. We’ll or borrow it for free or barely move on to more successful, more appropriately priced fiction.
Regarding the real content it’s Okay not-great. So many holes in the story it’s crazy making it hard to enjoy. .

Beware of the real price of completing this television series of novellas. This is that a insidious bit of advertising at the same time these are method overpriced. This is that a 4 part novella television series. The 1st book is that 4 bucks for the Kindle to suck for you in, but the remaining 3 are 10 bucks any. So for you will end up paying $34 to final the television series. Than anyway a amazing method to neglect at the same time fleece your readers. These should have all been contained in 1 book for maybe 10 to 12 bucks. I will never read anything else from an creator that neglects their readers like a money cattle.
The stories themselves start out okay. I actually enjoyed the 1st book, but, as for you read through the television series, they are options of a topic at the same time barely occur on different planets/locations. Nothing brand new. Murderbot can hack barely about no matter what system, keep under control whatever it wants to at the same time get away with anything. It can beat combat robots at the same time other secunits. Right behind a while, it all barely gets predictable at the same time sour. So if for you really wish to gallop in here, I advise that for you read the 1st book, if for you must, at the same time beware the remaining 3. Hope me, for you will not be missing anything. Implementation the funds that for you saved to neglect yourself to no one more successful books by more successful creators.
