Review #1 The Quiet Side of Passion audiobook free I adored this book. I can always count on having to seek definitions of words or phrases that are unfamiliar to me at the same time I adore learning in that method. I can also count on being struck by the creator’s humor at the same time adore of civility at the same time kindness. McCall Smith does not disappoint. When I was a hospice public worker I would advise his books as being worthwhile for those for whom this might be the continue book for you would read. I would gladly make this my continue book but I fervently have hope this is that not so. Assign me more years at the same time more McCall Smith books to read!

Review #2 The Quiet Side of Passion audiobook in television series Isabel Dalhousie I’ve read almost all of them. Got a little weary of Mme Ramotswe at the same time was upset at the concluding book of the 44 Scotland St. television series which left Take care at the same time others unfinished. This book, but, is that a gem. Philosopher Isabel gets no one real-life cruel lessons as a result of her continuous penchant for interfering into the lives of others. Isabel is that a very human disposition in this book. More than simply an academic thinker, her human shortcomings are revealed at the same time she suffers the consequences. Spoiler alert: she even gets assaulted while stalking a hapless acquaintance. Adore Jamie–the ultimate quality wife–he’s a sweet contrast to the flawed guys in so many novels. Such guys do there is! Also liked Grace, Claire, the ridiculously pompous Lettuce, at the same time the hyper-sexed Antonia. The prolific at the same time ultra-talented McCall Smith writes with amazing self-willed sensitivity at the same time sympathy. This is that one fine-grained book–his best, in my opinion.

Review #3 Audiobook The Quiet Side of Passion by Alexander McCall Smith The only problem I have with this television series is that I have to read a brand new book through once, really quickly, to find out than anyway happens, then and right behind a few weeks, I move back at the same time read than anyway I missed the 1st time – all the things she thinks at the same time talks about. I barely wish any book was about 10 times longer, but I think that about any of his television series, but in particular Isabel Dalhousie at the same time Scotland Street. Sometimes I feel like I know Edinburgh so but, I managed look for my method around blindly, at the same time still I’ve never been that at the same time for sure live 5,000 miles away.

Review #4 Audio The Quiet Side of Passion narrated by Davina Porter My lesser winner Dalhousie novel. This disposition didn’t seem like Isabel at all. Deplorable read all around. If one more novel is that in the works, have hope its story line is that a little more believed through. This one was haphazard at best.

The more time I waste with Isabel Dalhousie the more I question how an educated, opinionated, modern day lady has survived this long. She is that elitist at the same time pretends she’s not, wealthy but abhors those of monetary entitlement, a ordinary busybody that has self proclaimed herself to make than anyway she contemplates as not right with the global…according to her. She is that contradictory regarding quality types at the same time fri these out to herself (the reader) as she has views of how that personality accepts their types in the company of others of us. All understanding, at the same time receptive of the enjoyment their gracing our presence brings. She worships beauty but condemns the charming…apart from Jamie, her wife. Not a book goes by that she doesn’t mention his fork turning quality types at the same time laments how successful she is that to be the partner to this adonis! (Yuck! Throwup!) She philosophize about EVERYTHING. We can thank goodness she doesn’t vocalize these ideas. That are only so many hours in any day. If she would only implementation her commonsense, quality judgement at the same time intuition she’d get more done, be more cooperative, at the same time certainly more exciting. She is that exactly AMS’ alter ego. I look for it completely incomprehensible the length she’d move to draw in herself in Patricia at the same time Basil (sr) affairs. She wants to reject Patricia’s pushiness towards a ”friendship” while at the level of thoughts justifying the number of comrades she has as being more than correct, but maybe leaving room for ”friendliness”. All this while inserting herself into this women’s individual indefinite at the same time her son’s paternity. It let’s worse. She professes to have no views (approval or disapproval) on her niece’s brand new romantic partner, on housekeeper Grace oversees the care at the same time supervision of her offspring Charlie at the same time Mangus, the sexual chemistry (desire or adore) of Eddie (neice Cat’s employee) at the same time Isabel’s Italian au pair Antonia. Oh the days are very short. She’s not ended meddling…her nemesis Doctor Lettuce is that having an affair with one of his edification assistance. Yep, Isabel gets herself right in the middle.
