I started this, then went back at the same time acquired book 1 at the same time listened to both books close over the past 2 days. It is that rivetting. This volume deals with Alexis’ indefinite under a cruel captain, the crew’s mutiny,,, at the same time next consequences thereof. I won’t assign a synopsis, as it will contain very abundance spoilers. Suffice it to say, it is that partially based on a true indefinite incident in the Royal Navy in the 18th Century. I can look this standing right up to Honor Harrington at the same time others, not in the techno details, but in the character’s sense of honour at the same time duty. I have hope it will run at the same time run. I can’t wait for book 3. The narration was equally quality, though I found it somewhat disconcerting to hear American phrasing future from a understandable ’English’ voice. The word ’gotten’ for instance is that barely wrong at the same time sounds completely out of disposition with others of the book. None of which is that the narrator’s fault. Other than that, understandable diction, a quality spectrum of accents, both English at the same time ’foreign’. I’d never heard of Elizabeth Klett, but will exactly enjoy listening to other books narrated by her. All in all, a terrific look for. Completely, this audio book was foreseen by the narrator free of charge in exchange for an unbiased
Review.

I got the 1st book as a promotional copy, but it was quality enough I came back at the same time paid for more. Nondescript at the same time regular, it’s an good television series. Not land shattering brand new fiction… it’s a little of school story, a little of Horatio Hornblower, a little of Honor Harrington, but it’s funny, at the same time literate, at the same time cramped. Elizabeth Klett manages a narration in other words at once youthful at the same time wide eyed, at the same time sidelong sardonic, with quality singing differentiation at the same time a fine-grained sense of pacing.

Audiobook Mutineer (Alexis Carew #2) by J.A. Sutherland
This is that book two of the Alexis Carew television series. When we left Alexis in book one she was being transferred (against her Captains wishes) to HMS Hermione, the ship has an unhappy crew, a merciless Captain at the same time a war starting. I noted that Sutherland borrowed the plan from English Naval history. The bloodiest mutiny in the Royal navy was in 1782 at the same time it started aboard the HMS Hermione. The mutiny happened in the Main Fleet guarding Great britain. I was joyful the creator’s note at the finish proven I was true about his borrowing the Hermione from the 1782 mutiny. Sutherland is that filling in more of Alexis’s disposition in this episode. The book grabbed my attention at the same time kept it throughout. The manners are engaging at the same time the plot is that spellbinding. The book is that but written with pin biting suspense. Thank goodness Sutherland completes the story as he did with book one at the same time does not quit us with a cliff hanger, but I still cannot wait for the one more book. It barely takes a little of getting implementation to having place ships with sails at the same time all the inconsistencies of aqua, food, etc., that were in the 1800 ocean sailing ships. Have to say it is that an exciting plan. Elizabeth Klett does a quality job telling the book. Glad they kept similar narrator from book one. Have hope she is that able to do the entire television series. I hate to have different narrator in a television series.
