Nothing but teenage soap opera at the same time softcore porn writing. The narration was breathy at the same time in whispers at the same time agonizingly smoky. I listened to the entire book at 1.35x high speed barely so it sounded like a normal paced audiobook. The ”bad guys” were considered so of course enthusiastic by today's politics that even though I’m against the today's political administration I believed I was going to get headaches from the amount of eye rolling that happened. That being misspoke, around the halfway fri Clare actually gets back to a plotline at the same time finishes the book healthy. If I managed split this book in half I would simply assign 1 hit to the beginning at the same time 5 hit to the finish. If you want the real shadowhunters book at the same time not erotic fan fiction, then skip to chapter 15 or 16. Clare should let anyone else cross out her books if all she wants to cross out about is that her just a little lawful teen sex fantasies.
